Did not answer but from research sounds like the same people have called from a different phone number before 909-842-9142.  Just let the answering machine talk to them >:)

This guy called stating he was waiting to mail my package and needed to confirm my name and address.  He said he was calling from Key Discounts Savings and represented 500 marketing companies (like Barnes and Noble, Office Max, Target, gas cards, etc.).  I got all this info because I was asking questions.  I told him he could not be calling from a business because he was calling from a cell phone number.  He didn't get much further because he hung up.

Oh yeah, when you call the number back, it says, "Thank you for calling.  We are sorry if we reached your number in error.  We only purchase in-call business phone listings.  If you would like your number removed from our calling list, please press one."  

If you wait a few seconds, the message repeats again and again.

I don't know, if they're able to capture any info by you pressing one.

just got a call from them requesting me to confirm information about my Visa card. They told me they were going to ship me a $100 gas gift card via mail. They also asked for the number of my Visa card. Of course I didn't give it to them. But be careful.

The same thing has just happened to me.  I received a packet in the mail stating that my membership materials are enclosed.  I did not sign up for this discount club and now I am worried sick that charges are going to be applied to a credit or debt card.  They do not answer the telephone; music plays endlessly.  I also received with the packet a voucher for gas or Red Lobster, etc.  Anyway, thank you for the tip!

His name was "Royston".  The company was FEA...Financial Education of America....He wanted to send a $100 voucher for Wal-Mart and a $100 voucher for Chevron, Shell and another gas station along with a brochure from his company.  He said they work with certain companies to advertise products.  I let him run on and on and just went along with it for a few minutes asking questions but knowing it was all BS...I asked for a website and he said it was www.fea.com.....that website is Financial Engineering Associates. I asked him what FEA stood for again and he told me again Financial Education of America...Once I told him what www.fea.com really was, he hung up.  He told me they were located in Pheonix, Arizona....the area code is (760)....that's a California area code.

A foreign speaking man called and told me that I had won a Walmart gift card.  I explained that I was not interested and hung up.  He called me back 3 times and I ended up shouting at him.  I asked his name and he said "michael Smith"  I told him he didnt sound like a Michael Smith.  He finally got it!

Somehow a charge from ClubSave is on my Dad's credit card. They sent a package and it says to go to www.keydiscountsavings.com. There is no such website. I cancelled with a lot of difficulty the first package over the phone. Then another package arrived. Now I have to attempt to cancel it too. There are cards for gas rebates but I wouldn't trust them. Seniors, especially if hard of hearing or mild dementia sure get taken advantage of a lot.

She said she was from the research marketing company Gold Coast and her badge number was 40543 and that her name was Kathy Smith. Her name was clearly not Kathy Smith. I told her, you don't sound like a Kathy Smith. She repeatedly wanted to assure me that everything was "legal" and "being recorded".   She wanted to verify my address.  I allowed her to do so because she had it and it wouldn't give more info and I wanted to hear more about the BS she was about to give me. They were going to send me a package for a 300 gas voucher for using my "plastic card" at one of their major retail marketing partners. I could tell that she was clearly not a Kathy Smith. It definitely sounds like a scam.  She said they would ship the package from Phoenix, AZ.  It sounded very suspicious, but I left her keep going to see what kind of information she was going to give.  The kicker was when she said, all you have to do is pay for the shipping and handling fee.  So I continued to ask her, well how would I pay this fee.  You want my credit card number right?  Then she said, "No, because we are a legal marketing company we cannot ask for personal information".  I pushed more.  She finally said, "You would cal your bank to tell them that Gold Coast is authorized to accept a payment of 3.95".  I asked her to tell me which stores she was refering too.  She said there wer over 1100 including Macy's Target, etc.  I told her this sounds crazy and I would call one of their partners to verify.  Sounds like a big big scam.

John D. Smith from Key Discount Savings called and wanted to send me a $100 gas rebate.  Needed to verify name and address.  I told him his name could not be John Smith because his accent did not match up to a name like that and that I was suspicious of his call.  He sounded offended and hung up.
