I am getting a call from a Nathan Lewis with a very bad accent everyone at this place has a accent and when you call after closing hours no answering machine for this place. also they first call from a 916-395-0000 # when you call it, it is not a working # and to call 911. is this place really legit they are saying I owe for a payday loan and need to pay or I will be arrested. please tell me what to do.

I did not answer the phone at first since he called me from 000-0. Then he left a message with the phone number 760-566-6084. I researched it and thank goodness for your complaints on this page. He called back 15 minutes later stating that he was david green calling from the California Law Group. I told him that I was not paying a dime to them. And also, if they were legit, to send me a written document through the mail. He would not do it. Then, after a couple minutes of bickering, he said see ya. It sounded like a complete scam.

I just got three miss calls from the number stating that there's a law suit filed against me and that I need to call them back else I would face jail time and if I don't call Monica back who by the way could barely speak enligsh with a very strong Indian accent staing that if I don't call her back all she could do is pry for me.  This has been going on for about a month ago.  I keep on ignoring them but the calls woudln't stop!!

cant the police stop these ghouls who prey on people  ???

shawn gibson called me from this number. he told me if I didnt call him back with complete urgency. I would  go to jail. I called them back and told him. I would have the police track them down. so they would not call me anymore. I am not going to put up with this nonsense any longer. so if they call you beware its a scam. just like they threaten you with the police,turn the table back on them

nash brown sent me the same message twice in the same week ignore the message it's bull crap!

Ignore the call.  These people are scam artists.  I called them back and started shouting bible verses to them and they stopped....  Do not believe what they tell you.  They threatened to rape me and kill my family.  No legit buisness would even utter these words in an effort to collect a balance.

I also received the same call, should I ignore the caller or what.  The police tell me there is nothing they can do.

yeah i know the feeling they got me twice the first time i was an idiot and payed thinking i did something wrong and i was going to jail now they called me at home my work on my cell and i called the attorney and now the cops are trying to find these gys i have been a nervous wreck i think they should all have the same thing happen to them

Got a call from this number on my home machine today, 2/16/11.  She wanted me to call her back or my retained attny. of record to call her back as the situation is extremely time sensetive.  If she doesn't hear from either one of us, she can only wish me good luck as the situation unfolds on me.  It sounded like she said her name was Sharot and she had an Indian accent.  No name of company.

Just received a vmail message from someone named "Nash Brown".  I think that was what he said, but he was hard to understand.  He seemed to be either Indian or Arabic.  Anyways, the number showed up as 0000 on my phone so I let it go to vmail.  When I listed to the message, I was appalled!  He said that if my lawyer or myself didnt call back ASAP, that he wishes me good luck in whatever happens to me as a result of not calling him back!  Nice threat, huh?  Im not even calling the number back, because no legit business would EVER speak to someone like that!

I called them back and asked for the name of the firm, they stated they were calling from Law Group of California and refused to tell me what type of law they practice. As soon as I asked for their bar number and told them I had recorded the threatening message they left me, they hung up, I have never received another call from them since.

I got a call today from them freaked my right out. I am changing all my information and contacting the better business bureau.

My wife received a call from a Tom Smith making threats of jail time and a costly trial if terms were not met as follows:
Agree to make 3 payment of $300.00
Fax Debit Card Info on th same day
Send a copy of Driver's license

I called the number only to get a recording for a voice mailbox that could not accept anymore messages. This man upset my wife so much she was a bundle of nerves. I also received a call from "Nathan Blett" I do not like threats.(nor should anyone)

These people are calling me with this number saying that I took out a loan that I have never taken out. They said that the loan was for $300.00 but after the cost of everything I would have to pay $8000.00 and that they are willing to take the case to court if I dont make a payment. But the funny thing about it is that they never give you the same court date twice. And they are more focused on saying that they will get the police to come to your place of employement and not your home and that way you will loose your job. They have been trying to scam me for over 2 months now but they got the right one this time. In the end I might have them owing me money. But honestly its a scam and they will get you only if you let them.

They are also calling me with the samething. I got my lawyer to call back so that we can fax them my info that its not me or my account, but they never gave her a call back but they continue to call my cell and my job. Good thing I have an understanding boss, cause once I explained it to her she was okay

Exactly .. I had a loan taking for 200 . then after I set it up to my bank account to pay it off with the day loan facility for some reason they took one payment and that was all . after that I got calls from this number alot alot . and they said I have to pay for this loan 950 I said well ok I paid it with pre paid card .. Stupid me to pay it . they told me I will be going to jail and and and and ect.
Thier english is poor I can't understand them . also they break up when they talk like diving under water with phone lol. After that about 6 months they called again and said they need me to call them I did they said on so so day I got a second loan lol.which I NEVER NEVER DID AFTER ONE STUPID LOAN. AND THEY SAID IT GOT DEPOSIT TO MY BANK ACCOUNT ON March 2010 i LOOKED IT UP THERE WAS NOTHING. they told my my case will be in the court on monday and today is wednesday. .I GUESS IT IS A FRAUD . I DON'T KNOW

I just started receiving phone calls at work and on cell phone.  they said they are attorneys and are going to come to place of employment and serve papers for me to appear in court.  If it causes me problems with my employer, what do I do?  It started with an online payday loan I did (which is paid now) they said I owe money to a payday loan company of which I never applied to.

This number is call me saying the r taking me to court for an unpayrd loan...when i called the loan company they never had a file on me...they r trying to scam me in to paying them money for a loan that i never had.....
