just got a phone call guy said i was being suied and he would report me to calafornia super cort in la county for bank fraud said his name was leo fernandez refused to give me a copy of any docs i filled out waunts 1916.22 and then would be no proublem.1866-256-9619 was the fax number. called from 209-780-5213 told me to call him back @ 209-780-4534

What is his bar number so I can check and also make a complaint on this man. How do they get people's information? Calling asking about my SS#, and the likes.

Do not send no money, I told them to mail me all the documents, court papers and the likes to my house. Then I will sue them for fraud, I am waiting to see the outcome of this crap. I did not get a payday loan or take out a payday from no one. I know it is all crap.

I got the call today at my job stating that i owe EZ payday loan, David Kennedy he is the senior attorney. I am getting sued for the loan I do not know nothing about nor did I take out a loan. What kind of BS is this? who are these foreigners with a strong accent. and they are very rude and disrespectful. it needs to stop, I did not take out any payday loans. The number is a cell phone not a business phone from Bishop, CA.

I just got a call from them on my cell and at work - from some name james smith and I couldn't even understand why he was saying,but he did say that I need to have my attorney call him or if I didn't call, that he wished me good luck. So I called and spoke to Leo Fernandez who told me I had 3 complaints against me from a company ez cash advance.... I must say I was very frighten and so I listen to everything he said... its crazy because they have all of my information, my social, address, everything.... anyway, he said that I owed $3084.77, when I told him that this was the 1st I heard of this situation he told me that he would try to work with "his client" to see if they could help me out... so he put me on hold, which really just sounded like he put the phone down.. and after maybe 5 minutes he came back and told me that he had explained it the client and they agreed to lower my amount due to $745.22, but I needed to pay it $200.00 tomorrow and $200.00 every other friday thru a prepaid debit card. ......He wanted me to write him a letter than said I agreed to the above terms and fax it to him...... trying to call this EZ cash advance to see what this was and why I had not received any other notice before - and getting no where, I decided to google the number and of course, I found this listing..... so i decided to call them back and tell him that my attorney wanted him to fax him the paper work he had on me and he got annoyed and told me to have my attorney write him a letter with his bar assocation number on it and fax it to him so that he can them fax over the paper work to my attorney.... this is crazy....

Sara, you are obviously one the scamers with a fake post to make people who check the number think you are legitimate.  To anyone googling this number, do not believe this "sara"  This "leo fernandez" is some middle eatesrn scammer, probably sitting in a call center and using information they have stolen form people to try to extort money form them.  They are liars and thieves and need to be kicked off the planet!!!  Make sure you read the other posts on this number and check out the post by "this just in" under the number 425-905-7100 on this site. Report any phone calls you get like this and the numbers they are using to your state attorney general and www.ic3.gov.  Good luck everybody - keep the informaiton about these crook posted so you can warn others!

I got the same calls and this guy named James Teller with a very heavy accent leaves me a message and tells me that if I don't call him back then all he can do is wish me the best of luck so I did call him back and got another man named Scott with a heavy accent telling me I took out a loan for 5000.00 last year and needed to pay back now with a credit card or else he will have investigators come to my job!!  I was so mad I told him to go ahead come get me!  Now I have a ton of people who are calling thier number over and over again... Not going to threaten me without a fight

Received a message on my home phone - heavy accent and to call this number back regarding a legal matter.  I will NOT call them back.  I did some checking and these people are scam artist.  DO NOT CALL them back.  IF you are being sued you would have paper work sent to your home - after receiving letters including one that is certified.  They are trying to frighten you into giving them your credit card number.  It's a scam because you probably filled out a payday loan application on line.  That is how they got your phone numbers and SS#.  IF it's a legal claim they will contact you via a letter at home as stated above.  Don't let them scare you!

I got a call at home and a call at work from these people.  The first man I spoke to said his name was James Smith and he had such a heavy Indian accent that I could barely understand him.  He wouldn't really give me any information other than I had a someone suing me and pressing charges from a loan from 'cashnet.com' which I've never gotten.  I told him I had no idea what he was talking about.  He said 'oh, no one briefed you on this?'  Clearly not, Jimmy.  He passed me over to a supervisor who said his name was Craig Miller.  Again, Indian accent so thick I couldn't understand him.  He pretty much read from the same script as Jimbo.  Bottom line, I asked him for verification.  He said he would fax it to me.  Never got a fax, never got another call.  They may call again tomorrow, but it is illegal in the state of Massachusetts for a debt collector to call your place of employment more than once in 30 days.  They can only call you at home twice in a 7 day period.  (I have a friend who works for lawyers and knows all this stuff.)  And they were very threatening and very rude.

Received a call from this number today... Leo Fernandez who was looking for a good friend of mine. Said she had criminal charges against her and that I needed to get in touch with her and have her call him. I asked what this was in reference to and he said he had her social and I just needed to do it. Very rude and really strange call.

Called us 2X in Massachusetts.
Said his name was Leo Fernandez.
Was looking for 2 different people who do not live here.
Background noise sounded like the call was being made from a home with children in the distance.

Probably best to alert your Attorney General's Office.

I also spoke with Leo and he was very rude.  I asked how he got my information and that when he said I'm sending people to your work to investigate you.

I just got a call from them.  I told them that the company that they were calling from is not listed online.  The man got mad and hung up on me.  Then I called them back to ask what it was about and they said it was about a easycash loan... I told them i've never apply for that and they told me they would come to my work an investagate me.... He also has my SS#.  How do I report this company

This number also stating the same as 760-582-0303 that I have a law suite out against me and I need to send in money.

The call from this number was made to my place of employment; and they are threatening me if I don't call them back regarding bank fraud.  Which I am not guilty of.  I was scammed and now the Bank wants me to pay them back.   I am questioning this number because the person(s) are foreigners and I can't exactly understand what they are saying and they would not state exactly how they received my information.
