i got a couple calls from this number and finally answered it, it was the Child support services saying that my ex wanted to lower the amount her owes

got a call today at 2:30pm from that number and it is Vista county Superior court.

Answered a local for me 760 call at 2:20 PM.  They just hung up without saying a word. Interesting part -- it was definitely an old-school phone, where you can hear the phone being slammed in its cradle just before the line goes dead.  That kinda makes sense if it's a special jail phone for inmates.

got a call at 6 am then 6:30 am and 3;30pm he said it was billy calling from jail on the call from 6:30 am the other two calls they hung up

Got a call from this number at 6am Sunday morning. There was silence on the other end, then music came on, then a hang up. About 20 minutes later, another call with a hang up when I answered. On Sunday no less....6am. :( If this is the Vista Jail, this needs to be stopped by the authorities who are running that facility.

Got 4 successive calls at 9:43 pm last night.  Heard a woman breathing or crying?  Waited to talk with her but she hung up each time.  Then, blocked the number.  "SD City of" which is Vista jail.

Got the call at 6.43pm 5.28. Received a voicemail with nothing by Enya (I believe it was Ebudiae) music. Go figure.

A woman called my house phone today at 11:45 am, which i never give out, and asked for me. My mother told her that I wasn't there and to call back in an hour. We have caller ID and my sister said that this number calls frequently without leaving a message. I just received a call at 12:50 pm from a woman that wanted to follow up on a case that was filed. She also asked me if I needed resources for help groups.

Just got a legitimate call from this number with a voice mail asking me to call back the DA who called. My guess is that the who building in the San Diego court house which houses DA's office as well as jail shares this number.

Best advice: if it is a legitimate call for you the caller will leave voice mail.

Call came in at 847 AM no message was left. This call is from Vista detention Center. It is a collect call that only works with land lines bcause charges are made to your home phone bill for this call. Because they are not able to bill cell phones it is not possible for an inmate to make a connection until some other form of payment can be made, ie credit card. Maybe a friend or relative was calling from jail? Sadly I cannot help them. Im not in the bail bond business.

someone called in the middle of the night..all you could hear was some music in the background...but yet no one answer...

I also had the recording of Enya on my voicemail.  Called 8 times between 5am and 7am this morning. Two missed with a message left then as I was going to call voicemail, the third call came in. Hung up when I said "Hello?", turned ringer off then more calls. Called Verizon and had it blocked.

Was called 3x from this number between 2 and 4am. Luckily my ringer was off.

I did not answer the call and no message was left.

I think this is a phone located within a detention center. I got the same call and tried to call back but the operator said its been disconnected. I was in jail once and inmates call random numbers and ask what time is it because they want to know how long they've been in the holding cell and what time of day it is. I do recognize this number but I might be wrong.

this call is from vista detention center in vista california all the lines inside the jail including deputees and inmates have this number , but sepperate extensions . it says its disconected so u cant call it back

Just got one at 8am this morning, did not answer.

Got a call today and they were leaving a message and didn't know it. it definetly sounded like it was in a detention or something heard someone telling them to get off the phone and the guy kept on saying that it was his turn and he wasnt on it earlier and that he was sleeping and that they always pull him off the phone. At least that was what I heard. They called 4 times and I didnt answer.

A guy identified himself as "Wino", and asked for my name. The odd thing is, is that he knew my name. I think it was a little coincidental, and told him that this is me but I don't know you. The guy then stated "I'm locked up and I'm in jail right now". I attempted to call it back but the number states that the phone number is blocked. The phone number that he called from and is on my cell phone is 760-643-0262.

Yes, this is in fact the number from the jail... a friend of mine just called from that number and said he was just arrested for DUI.
