Caller ID says, "Richard Mayvill." I picked up, he asked for a particular person in my office. I asked, "May I ask who is calling?" And he groaned and hung up.
Yesterday, the same "Richard Mayvill" called from 219-228-7629 and did the same exact thing.
Annoying.

This person called and asked if I was interested in making extra money and I told him no that I wasn't. He wouldn't shut up so I hung up on him. They call every day at 5:00 p.m.

I answered the phone and this telemarketer on the other end tried to pitch a business opportunity and asked if I would be interested. I said no I'm not really interested and please remove my name from your this list. The telemarketer responded rudely and said no we're going to keep on calling you until you buy. then he hung upsince then the Telemarketer has tried to call me three other times.

Agreed they never stop even after I spoke to the person in full length. I also could barely understand him, even though he spoke English well he just talked so fast you could barely figure it out. When he asked about making extra income, I stated that I am now enrolled into college, and doing quite well, I also stated that I was not interested in spending more money to make money this should be a free service, with commissions paid for results, so please do not call again, but they still did, so call block is the only answer.

Phone rang. I answered. Said Hello about four times. Then a guy said Hi Laura, it's Jason from Amazon *&*(*&(* something I could not understand. I said "what can I help you with" and he said that I had wanted to work from home. I told him I was already doing that and asked who he was with. Again he said Amazon Something and Walmart. Then he asked who I was working with and I said Amazon FBA. He then hung up. I tried to call back, but it wouldn't go through. This is a scam.
The coincidence is that I was waiting on a call from Amazon Seller Central. I will give them the number and info.

I applied for a job, which turned out to be a scam, and that ONE time of giving my phone number has resulted in multiple telemarketing calls, all day long, many times a day. It never ever stops. Because they share the numbers they get and sell the lists to other telemarketers to contact. It's ALL telemarketing... insurance, work from home, website design, and on and on and on. Because I gave the number to what I thought was ONE legitimate job opening, my enrollment on the Do Not Call Refistry is void. I hate telemarketers ... so much. (I have a pay as you go phone and these calls cost me a fortune if I answer them.) So, I've taken to just letting it ring, and telling all my legitimate callers to leave a message for me, so I can call them back. The telemarketers are relentless. Even if you tell them no, they continue to call.

As noted in another note here the caller Id comes up as Parker AZ. Unscrupulous Telemarketers who never leave a message. If it's not important enough to leave a message, then whatever the call is about isn't either. :) They just like to annoy people, IMO.
