Same as all of the above.  I have reported this call to Home Depot.  Probably won't get any reply or action as HD is allowing Rainsoft to market under their name - can we say kick back?!

I called the number back and requested to be put on the "DNC list" ....
I also put their number in my contact list and assigned a no-ring to  them... if they call me again
I will have a record (missed call) and will report them.

Survey
Result of a free water test from Home Depot.

They call to survey you about some things and then send someone over to your house to test the water.  They will give you a $10 HD gift card, but after finding out that they will come to the house I declined.

This number calls everyday and leaves no message.  If I don't know who's calling, I don't usually answer and I figure if it's important, they'll leave a message.  (Ha ha, I guess it's not important!)  I called the number and an actual person answered and identified himself as a Home Depot rep.  I requested that they stop calling and he was very polite and considerate and said they'd stop.

I too received a call from this number to my cell phone.  I did not give my name or number EVER to anyone at home depot, however I understand that having a smart phone turned on in any retail establishment, it is possible for them to find out who you are via electronic means. Its either that, or Sprint has.sold me down the river. Or, it could be that because I have the home depot app kn my phone.....

Looks like they are getting more creative.  I have had repeated calls in the past from this number and have never answered them.  Today they left a message on my voicemail saying they are Home Depot and have been trying to get in touch with me.  And that I should call 626-587-7500 Ext.alt.214 to find out why they need to talk to me.  Do they think we are that dumb?  I have done business with Ace Hardware for years and then a couple of years ago I made the mistake of buying a major appliance from Home Depot.  Never again.  I wish someone would shut these morons down permanently.

Yup!  I was at home depot two days ago gave my phone # and firs name and now I get these calls too now.  Never again.  I wish I had the FBI's secretary line to give them instead :-) These are the people that come up to you while shopping at Home Depot.  Ask you a few questions and tell you that you can get a $500 Home Depot Gift Card.  If you don't want to get these calls tell them;  "no thank you,"  This is not a scam but Home Depot just trying to sell you services.

The caller ID said Lifetime Water.
The message just went to a voice mail.
We are on the DNC list also. Seems to do no good.
So annoying. They called at 5:38pm. Dinnertime of course.
So rude.

This number called my house phone at 9 pm asking me all the same questions as the post above me, but she also started asking me who lives in my house, if it was just me and my wife then asked where we work. Then asked if she can send a rep outt to my house at 930 at night. What kind of sale is this? I thought business hours were 8-5. Immediately my wife thought this was a scam and now people have my personal info on how many people live here and when were home. Sounds like a scam to me.

I know who it is and what they're selling. The person that asked you some questions about whether you have a water softener and/or if you buy bottled water at Home Depot "promising" a $500 gift card from Home Depot. They want to sell you a very expensive whole house "water treatment system". It is a water softener and a reverse osmosis filter less than $1000.00 retail without installation. They will show you how bubbles don't form with pure tincture of green soap (widely used in medical facilities) in your hard water. Then explain how your water ruins your clothes, then some very creative math that shows how what you save on clothes saves you more than the monthly payments for the system. (Which ends up costing you over $8000.00 Getting them to admit the bottom line is almost impossible.) Then they try to sell you a bundle of "pure soap" consisting of: French pressed bar soap, ( lasts many more times longer than regular bar soap) super concentrated laundry soap, super concentrated dish soap, super concentrated etc. When you say "no", the high pressure and guilt trip starts, "How can not be interested in saving all this money etc. etc.?!?" Two hours worth of presentations, water tests, and math.  By the end you are tempted to offer him $500.00 to just go away!!
