Person who called identified himself as: John Williams.
Said individual, states he is calling from: State Attorney Office
Said individual states his reason of call to me:  Legal complaint filed against my name regarding my
social security number.

I am a law abiding citizen.  I was concerned, so I researched.  Checked out the State Attorney Office and made an effort to see if one, John Williams is there, I did not call just search on internet.  Nowhere was he to be found, so I then called the Federal Public Defenders Office with a message stating words to the affect above to them and I left my name and cell phone number, because maybe they can explain what is "REALLY" going on.

I received the same call today from a john Williams but the number was 7604833761 he told me not to interrupt him but I did n he threatened to send the police to my house, this is a scamand I reported the number.

told my wife she was to be arrested for a debt she owed

yea same thing just happen left a.message saying the same threat, i told him i didnt get any loan and he hung up on me and wont pick up my phone calls idk how he got.all my info but im going to report this to the police and call the real state of attorney and let them know what is going on.

Like alot of people apparently I am to be arrested for something I did not do..

I received numerous calls from this phone number (7608600504) saying that he is from the state attorneys office and that i owed money for a loan i didnt even apply for. The company was cash advance usa i think its a scam and the guy i spoke to said his name was john Williams and he had an accent i hope someone puts a stop to this.

had the saame exact thing happen today and the only thing that bothers me is that they have my Social S number. Im buying Identity Theft insurans. Its only $60 a year and free first month.

Guy saying his name was Mike Cooper, but very strong India voice.  Sounded like a telemarketing call center, u could hear other voices in the background.  Also he kind of laughed when he told me about a debt I owed, but he could not give me a name of the creditor.  Also told me to suck his d**k!

Just got a call from these guys at my work. They said the same. That if I didnt contact them and give them my info I would be delt with accordingly and good luck. I called the number back and a guy with a really heavy eastern accient answered. I told them not to call my cell or work number again and the guy started swearing at me calling me all kinds of names. Yeah a real business does that. Total scam.

I received a call from a Mr Fernandez. He had a very heave east Indian accent. Stated I, or my attorney of record, needed to return the call or will be dealt with accordingly. Needless to say, I did not return the call. If they cannot state where they are calling from I will not waste my time.

He left a message for my 6 year old son. He claims that he owes a loan and that if he doesnt call back then good luck. I spoke to him and said that the person that he is looking for is a child and he said well we have him down as being born in 92. and he read his social and that was right and that is about it that was correct. then he said sorry mame we need to talk to clayton and not you.I told him no and he hung up...then he has called everyday and left messages...
I hate these people ...i really do..

The caller said his name was Jason Watson. He left a message on both my cell phone and work phone. Sounded very scripted. This is not the first time they have tried this. I called back and told them if i received another call i would be the one speaking to the police about them. I told them since they left messages I have proof. Needless to say they hung up rather quickly.

JUST RECEIVED SAME PHONE CALL.  SAID IF I DIDN'T TALK TO HIM I COULD TALK TO THE POLICE OFFICER.  ONE WAY CALLER HAS AN ACCENT.  I DO NOT TAKE KINDLY TO THREATS SO I HAVE REPORTED THIS NUMBER.

A person with a thick accent stated that he was a from a  legal aide agency and that there was three criminal charges against my name and my social security number and that I need to call a Kevin Peterson immediately.  Ask him what it was about and he stated that he could give me any information. Criminal charges and I have never  been to jail and have never conducted myself or placed myself in that kind of situation. I have kids and don't have time for this nonsense. People are just crazy. My SS# ain't worth much because my credit it JACKED up, so making some money off of me is a straight joke.

Called me today. Has my real SS#. Anyone else had this happen?

This guy called me at work on Friday stating that I had all these charges pressed against me for some loan i had never gotten. He stated he was from the state attorney's office and when questioned what state he said "If you are just going to ask questions then hang up the phone a** hole". SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AGAIN, THIS SUPPOSED JOHN WILLIAMS CALLED ME AND AS I SAID EARLIER HE HUNG UP ON ME WHEN I QUESTIONED WHO HE IS. HE IS A ONE WAY CALLER, HE SPEAKS AND YOU HAVE NO CONTROL AS HE WILL HANG UP ON YOU. MY ANSWER TO YOU ALL IS, LET IT BE CARRIED OUT WHATEVER HE IS DOING TO EXTORT MONEY FROM YOU. HE MUST PROVED DOCUMENTATION TO THE EFFECT ON WHAT HE IS THREATNING TO DO. OBVIOUSLY HE OBTAINED YOUR NUMBER FROM SOMEWHERE AND TO SEE IF YOU WILL REACT. DON'T WORRY TO MUCH ABOUT IT.

I recieved a call from a man who said his name is John. He has a very heavy accent and said he was with Allyson lawfirm. Claimed I owed money to cash advance when I have never applied for a loan of any sort. He claimed he would call the cops in my state and they were going to arrest me if I did not pay the loan back. He told me to let him speak and do not interrupt him so I let him speak then I questioned him after he was done speaking, he hung up on me when I requested he send me the information through the email that he supposedly had.

received a call from this john williams, looked up his number and the call is coming from julian ca. This is an east county small town east of San Diego. He had a very heavy accent, could barely understand him. He was reading from a script when he called, that was obvious. He said to me not to interupt him, I of course did in questioning his validity and when I did he hung up on me. This is a scam from the word go, he obtained my number obviously from being online. I tried to return the call and he did it again hanging up. This again is obviously a scam, no professional office would conduct a phone call such as this.
