I RECIVE A CALL FROM A TOWEL HEADED JOCKEY A**HOLE BY THE NAME OF ALEX WATSON PHONE NUMBER (213)261-6456,STATING I OWED A ONLINE LOAN WICH IN FACT IVE NEVER EVEN GOTTEN ONE, WHEN I QUESTIONED HIM THIS SOB GAVE ME MY SS# , I FREAKED OUT NOT UNDERSTANDING WHAT I HAD DONE WRONG , HE SAID I HAD A WARRANT AND WAS GONNA BE ARRESTED TOMORROW IF I DONT PAY HIM $489.00 , I KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG LAST TIME I KNEW THEY DONT TELL PEOPLE IF THEY HAVE A WARRANT, I HANDED THE PHONE TO MY HUSBAND BECAUSE I WAS TOTALLY SHANKEN UP, WHEN MY HUSBAND QUESTIONED HIM HE BECAME RUDE YELLING TELLING MY HUSBAND MY WAGES WILL BE GARNESHISH WICH WE FOUND STRANGE SENSE IM DISABLED ,HE KNEW I WAS ON DISIBILTY WICH SCARED ME EVEN MORE SO I CALLED THE SSA TO INFORM THIS OF THIS THEY INFORMED ME ITS A SCAM AND PUT A PROCTION ALERT ON MY DISABILTY BENNIFTS AND HAD ME CONTACT THE FCT SO BEWARE PEOPLE THE A***HOLES ARE JUST TRYING TO SCARE YOU DONT TELL THEM ANYTHING AND CONTACT THE FCT IF YOU RECIVE A CALL FROM THEM

I have had the same call from attorney alex watson. The caller says that me or my attorney needs to call ias soon as i get the message. They can barley speak english and now there calling from 213-261-6456. I called them back to tell them that they should change the name alex watson cause its all over the internet that you are a scam and the guy said " f*** you n****r" and hung up. I laughed my a** off.

They are doing the same thing to us.. It's really scary. And it's by the same guy.. What did you attorney tell you to do?

my husband is being harrassed at his work by a arabic guy claming to be an attorney alex watson and he's been calling my cell phone saying my husbands being sued for a payday loan. He never recieved or even applied for.. My poor husband is stressing out so bad, not knowing if his identy has been stolen or what, and the fact that we have a baby makes it worse.

I had received the same sort of voicemail yesterday stating I owed a creditor money and needed to reply in 15 to 45 minutes or my case would unfold into a legal matter, with the authorities showing up at my place of work and arresting me.  They claimed I took out a payday loan  and did not pay it back, they seem to know alot of personal info, but when asked to Western Union them the 498.52  they claimes I owed, they would not accept this type of payment ( really who does not accept W Union)  They told me they wanted a visa card from numerous locations which where not evan fesiable in my area.  I told them  I would get a Pre Paid Visa card   that would be okay but they did not want me to activate it only give them the numbers on it.  After I was to give them the numbers they wanted me to face other personal in for including a picture of my drivers license. SCAM    Thankfully the people at the bank are trained into looking for these kinds of things theytold me not to go any farther.  I had every intention of just paying it, to stop the calls.   I had to change all my bank info, because they seemed to have all my personal info.  I have reported it to my lawyer and he had taken the next steps,  please do not pay theses people any money!!!!!!     They are also very Rude on the phone!!!!!!!!

I received a call from foreign guy sounds like a idiot. Saying I'm going to jail for a loan I never got. Called him can't get in touch voice mail is full. The thing is he different ask for money or anything so what is your purpose of a scam complete idiot. Number he called from (213) 262-9570 could be off a number but it is same person

I just recieved a call yesterday from 714-733-5618. The infamous Alex Watson. Sayin I owed Cash America a bunch of money from a online payroll advance. He called my work and my boss called me. They will say anything to get you to give them money. My suggestion is enroll in LifeLock. Protect your name and social security number. it's only 13.95 a month for basic program.

I rec'd 45 calls at work from this scam artist

Rec'd call from 714-733-5618 Alex Watson yelling at me saying that I took payday loan and owed 795.00 and if I didnt pay right away they were send police to my work to arrest me and I would loose my job and have black mark on my credit.. Did not take any loan whats so ever..  (10/06/11)

i got a call from frank davanport from california saying i owe money from apayday loan and that i had 2 hours to pay i never applied for any payday loan and he was i real jerk he said i was going to jail and had to pay court cost and fines to the superior court of pennsylvania the # was 619-399-1692 beware of caller

I rec'd the same call from the same no. too!
I ended up calling them and harassing them over and over again. i told them that i was going to call the police and report them to the authorities too. the arabic people on the other end kept yelling and screaming at me and thats when I knew they were full of s**t.

Same guys call my son and his wife, scaring the s*** out of them, telling him he is to be arrested at work if they don't pay $750.00, fax a letter of some type to them, and give him both of their drivers license numbers, and DO IT WITHIN TWO HOURS!!!  The caller has a distinct Middle Eastern accent, and declines to give any information, especially specifics about who he represents.  They WILL say they represent "Payday Loans."  As previous posts have said, have fun with these bast****, but take time to report them to authorities.

Watch out on this as they have found new phone numbers to call from.  I hope they call me back because I am going to screw with them, of course, I will have already reported them to the FTC, FCC, and my local Police Department.

I got the same call today from Alex Watson, same company name but a different number (323-431-3049)  He said I owed $300 from Easy Cash.USA......he said I now owe $989.52 and it needed to be paid today or the police and an investigative team would show up at my job to serve me papers.  He said that I would lose my job and my social security.  He had so much personal information that I believed him for a while.  He told me to fax him my drivers license and a notarized letter with my debit card number stating they had permission to withdraw funds and the dates that they could do so.  I'm glad that I was suspicious and looked into this before I did anything.  Thanks for the warning.

These people called me as well, but this time the numbers showed up as all zero's on my caller id.  I played with them a little and went along like I was going to pay.  I then said send me something in writing, I was told the company I took the loan from does not have to show me anything in writing.  I asked to see the documents I signed, they actually said the company gives loans without signing any documents!!!!!  The man got mad and hung up on me, then another rep called right back and started the whole process again like nothing happen.  

They are clearly reading from a script so play with them a little to get them frustrated it was fun for me because I know I did nothing wrong.

i had the same thing happen to me at my workplace only mr davenport was a messanger and a man named micheal carter was the lawyer they called my place of work threating me about my job my life and my name they told me i took out a loan go figure and that i needed to go to court in LA which i was going to receive my papers today well no papers the worse thing is i contacted the local police and had it investigated and put a block on my social so im protected well the cop then called both numbers that i was given one was disconnected and the other was not an arab cursed out an officer of the law.  The officer then contacted me and told me of this and that he is pressing charged and that hopefully they are found but in the end after reading all these stories i can rest easy and so can every one else  the number of the micheal carter is 562-286-5280 so keep a look out for this number

I got the same call today it started as all ZEROS left a voice mail telling me its urgent to call back and it's time sensitive.  Called 760-514-0151 arabian guy said his name was Michael James-yeah right!!  Was so rude used foul and threatening language said i had defaulted on a loan and was going to be subpoenaed by a CA court.  I was scared to death bc i had no knowledge of any defaults.  Has anyone found any way to make it stop?  I don't want them to start calling my job.  This is really a scam right?

I have received a call from some woman that I can barely understand telling me to call 760-514-0151 the second I receive this message. I haven't called them back because it just didn't sound right. I have dealt with debt collectors before and am actually trying to pay off my bad debt. I am just terrified that they might call my work...

Unfortunately, this bunch uses a phone system that can show the call coming from anywhere, even your local area code, so tracking them down to sue them is next to impossible.  I just tell them what crooks they are, in a nice calm voice, and then ask them why they are yelling when they loose it.

I received a phone call today from an incomplete phone number but this was the number that Roger McLean on the other end gave me and told me that I had a legal litigation pending against me and if I didn't take care of it immediately that I would spend 5 years in prison and have to pay several thousand dollars in fines for bank fraud.  He kept wanting to verify my social security number which I would not do.  But he had the last four digits of my social security number and he knew my address, email address and cell phone number.  He also knew the bank that I bank with.  Of course I did not confirm any of this information.  How can they get this information?  and where do they get it from?

About a month ago, I received a call at work, from the above number.  The caller said much the same as all the rest posted here, which was extremely hard to understand. He said, "Good Luck" if I did not respond immediately.  I repeatedly said, I am at work and can not talk, the man speaking, continued to talk loudly and threaten me.  I finally just hung up on him.  He has continually called me at work, even though my supervisor has, on more than one occasion told him that I no longer work there, (I do still work there, but we thought it would stop the calls, it hasn't.)  He calls me at home constantly, I just do not answer.  I DO NOT understand, how he got my place of employment and work number and in fact, the department I work in. One time, the message stated, "this is Officer Wheeler, etc.  This guy name is Roger McLean.  Tell me, how is it, that all these,  East Indian scam artist, have American names?

these people JUST called my work, and i have infact taken a loan out with cash usa, but it is not unpaid... and THEY have my account information..what scares me is that these people have the last four of my social, and my reference person for the loan. they were not from this country, number showed up as + 000 at my work.... they said they were an attorny, and if i didnt get my lawyer i could file outside of court, tried to hussell me out of 745.22- at first i was scared, but then as the call progressed, i heard someone in the back round sayin (fax number - giver her fax number) - wanted me to fax a statement authorizing payment. im still shaken by this but i think its DEFINITELY a scam

I believe they are using different 760 phone numbers now.  I got a call today at my place of employment basically saying the same things they have said to you all above.  The Attorney was Alex Watson, and basically would not give me any transaction dates,,,but he did know the last four digits of my SS number, where I bank and my employment information.  I was very rude, and tried to get me to settle with them on the telephone rather than "dragging my butt into court" which is what he said.  

SCAM SCAM SCAM!  I can see why they get money from the elderly,,,,they scare you even though you know you didn't borrow money from a pay day loan service.

i got that same call from #619-399-1692 he said i got a payday loan and that i was going to jail if i dont pay and that if i go to court i would have to pay 10000 in fines and court cost he was nasty and rude when i tried to get information he hung up and said i have 2 hours to come up with 250$ to stop the court process and that i have to pay with a credit card and he said his name was frank davanport

I reported and registered this number on the do not call registry, so just keep reporting these low lifes.

Can't believe the nerve.  Rec'd the same call better not ignore, needed my attorney on record.  Said I had a court date in supreme court in California on March 3. Said I borrowed money from Instacash in 10/09 on internet and was being sued for bank fraud.  I never borrowed money over the internet, but what bothered me is that had my bank name and account number. I called back and spoke to this person that sounded indian but name was Alexander Davenport. I asked him how they got my bank info he hung up on me.  I called right back spoke with another guy asked for supervisor said they had no supervisors but they were a law firm. Told him about Alexander hanging up on me and I was reporting them ot AG.He said do what I had to but I still needed to go to court.

I received the same call from Alexander Davenport, stating i borrowed money as well and I had a court date set for March 3 as well.  They call me early in the morning, at my work, etc.  I told him he was crazy and he said i was going to court.  I said do what you have to do and I would report them to the police.

I received this same call yesterday at work. I asked them to give me a # so I could call them back. It was this same 760 #. They told me I had defaulted on a payday loan, but that the company was willing to settle out of court if I gave them my credit card and other info so that they could debit my account $945.00 by the end of the day, otherwise they would be showing up and serving me with papers. They were yelling at me and had me in tears! I knew that I hadn't defaulted on any loans. I'm so glad someone alerted me about this scam before I actuall did what they told me to do!
