Whoever this is calling me, it needs to stop, or will turn you in for harassment

I just got a call at work this morning.  The person (foreign accent) said  I applied for a loan and he needed my route and transit number to my checking account to finish the transaction. I asked for his name and company website.  He said he  was with paydayonphone.com.  Told him I couldn't remember putting in the application but I wound check it out online to call me later.  He said he would call in an hour.  I haven't heard from him yet.  I tried to dail the #  and the operator said it the number could not be completed as dailed.

I've just got a call from this number, once I answered they just hung up. Simply put if they are going to call have enough sense to say something when the phone is answered. I done appreciate it when people. Play on the phone. If it is a wrong number just say it.

It did the same thing last time we called them back.

i got a call from them this morning they wanted to verify my bank routing no and checking acct said i was approved for a 300 dollar loan i applied for online which i did try to get a paydayloan. however after i gave the man my info the line was dead like he hung up i tried calling back and could not get through it said not working and it was a busy signal i cant get them im going to bank to close my acct out.

i got three calls today. i tried to call the number back and it says "call cannot completed at this time or the number has been disconnected"...

I got four calls in about four hours from this number. The first time I answered, thinking it was a business call, but just heard a machine say "hello" a bunch of times really quickly before it hung up on me. Then I ignored it twice but got a message from it, and it was someone with a English accent saying "Hello? Hello? Hello?" and he sounded annoyed. Next time I picked up because I'd had it, but got nothing. Just heard the same rapid "hello hello hello hello" from before and another hang-up. GRRRRR!!!

Glad to see I'm not the only one, but sucks that there are enough of us to go around googling this stupid number.

i get repeated calls sometimes 3-4 a day

If they dont answer or respond find out who the number block belongs to, if that doesnt work you can always go into further action and hire an attorney and find out the name of the person that owns the block through him and see who the number was released to and proceed with legal action that way.

Most likely this is a telemarketer doing an electronic follow up to something. Even if you didnt sign up for anything most people just throw numbers around and may have entered your number in, this does happen quite often people in towns will alter there number by like 2 or 3 digits and the resident a mile away will get the annoying phone calls.

As far as the professionalism of some of the calls ie: im your man from the post above that was probably someone in the business prank calling for fun.  
And the reason why it doesnt pick up and no one is there almost all businesses use an auto dialer and it answers the first person to pick up the phone and disconnects or puts the other parties on hold. It usually calls 5 to 20 numbers at once. So the likelyhood of you getting someone most of the time is very low.

If you did not order anything or know them tell them to stop calling you. After 24-48 hours if they still call report them to the Bureau. I think they may be trying to steal identities and is punishable as a federal offence. When they dont stop and I dont think they will goto the link I listed above and report them to your local federal bureau with the times in which they called.

Explain to them that you feel this number is harrassing and may even be a threat to you. That when you call the number back the number is disconnected which suggests abuse of the phone lines and is prosecutable by federal law. The Fbi can always go back and see who accessed the number (physical) or who accessed the node from which they were calling into (virtual) and do a follow up.

It ia  a reserved area code in Florida.  Probably used to solicit.

so far today they have called me 6 times and it is only almost 3pm.  you would think they would get the hint that I am way to busy to talk to this a** eyes!!

I keep getting calls from this number. When I pick up, the phone automatically hangs up and the "busy" tone follows the click. It's interesting that I'm not the only person who's dealing with this. Who is this (761) 957-4159? It really needs to stop.

This person just called my house and said "Hello Beautiful, I am your man"  I informed them if they call again I will report this number for harrasment!

Anyone know who this is?  When I  tell them my husband isn't home and can I take a message, they hang up on me.
