This person called at 10:20 PM saying I hit his car today and I left my number on the windshield...  I didn't even leave the house today.  I'm confused.

Claimed to be a third-party agent for Google calling to confirm information for listings.

I got a call from this number while at work!!!  No message was left.  I returned the call and got an automated message.  This is GE HOME SECURITY.  We would like to provide youi with information on a GH Home Security System.  I said NO and call was ended.  Don't have a clue if this will stop when I said NO or if it will continue.  If in continues, I will be very upset as they are calling my WORK number.

Have called several times.  Once I received a voicemail that consisted of a basic hold message  (i.e. "your call is very important to us, please continue to hold.")  I have no Capital One accounts, and no old debts or late payments on anything.  So excluding potential fraud on a long-closed or never-used store card, I can't imagine them having legitimate business with me.

Said please hold for next operator. All were busy. Then why did you call me. Called twice in 30 min. I do have CapOne but I'm not behind on anything. Guess I'm gonna not be so nice when they call again as I am also on the NO CALL LIST!

They are calling about open Capital One accounts that are 1-2 payments behind.  Appears Capital One or Orchard or whatever uses outside agencies to contact customers via telephone.

this is a debt collection company,  I dont have any debts and they are playing fishing.  Ie calling anyone with the same last name as the person they are looking for call them back at 1-800-220-2274

called 4 times today and I have blocked that # 1-7632006592-NCO FIN

it is NCO ...trying to collect on old credit card debts that have long passed the Statute of Limitations...they use numbers from all over the U.S. in an effort to get you to answer the call out of curiosity...lumberheads need hung by the short hairs.....they won't take "NO" for an answer and are looking for any angle to get into your pocketbook for debts that they can't legally collect unless you respond to their calls.

We have 5 phone lines.  My wife told me how they had called 2 of her lines, once saying nothing and once wanting to offer her a capital one credit card.  She told them to place her on the DO NOT CALL list.  They called one of my phone lines yesterday and I got the "thanks for calling us, please continue to hold" messages.  Waited for 3 min and finally hung up.  They just called my fax line (I saw the caller ID and answered).  Asked for my wife.  I said to put me on the DNC list.  She stated that she already has a business relationship with my wife.  I told her she didn't, we have no Cap One credit card and to put me on the list.  She just kept asking when she could call back for my wife.  Finally she hung up.  WTF???

Called at 8:45 AM today. They previously have called using a different number but I blocked it, so now they are using this number. My answering machine picked up. I heard music and the familiar message: "your message is very important to us." So now I will block this one.

Repeat calls, no message.

Thanks, had a feeling that's what it was.  They never leave a message and call all the time.

It's NCO

Called my cell and get this...the message left was THEIR hold music with the recorded message of "your call is very important to us, please hold for the next available operator".  UN-believeable.  So...an answering machine called...my answerine machine.  Go figure

Called here too. Nothing. Caller ID says: "Cambridge, MN".
