They get your names through facebook or any other social websites. I put a fake name and they texted me by my fake name instead of my real name.

Received a similar message from +415-329-6970
Started with "hey <my first name.". Replied without confirmation of personal details, to which I received the same reply as above, kimberlyflirt. Replied "Your number has been reported to the authorities", after which I received the text "sorry I have no reception :("

The number traced back to a landline in CA. Kimberlyflirt resulted in various webcam sites on Google. Cared not to look into this further and just ignore it. Definately not going to add to any IM service and expose myself to any IP hacks...

I do wonder how they got the number and my name...but since it is my business phone and details are on business cards all over the place, they could have gotten it from anywhere I guess.

I saw the same text on my husband phone from kimberlyflirt
765-444-4575. I said something not too nice to this woman who was texting my husband. After she said,
A.D.D me on y! IM ... id is kimberlyflirt, then she followed up with
sry, I have no battery life ;(

I was really surprised the intial contact said Heyyy (Then my husband's name)
Very distrubing that they know your first name. How can they get this information!

My husband received the text and asked me to research. They didn't reply to my text till I had text like 30 times then they sent me a message saying

A.D.D me on y! IM ... id is kaylaflirter

I replyed- Maybe since you won't give me your name you should stop texted my husband.

They then replyed - sry I have no reception ;(

Number was - 949-357-1540 sprint phone number

received a text - stating "Hiiii" and then my first name....that was it, I replied within a minute or so with "who is this?" and never received one back.....I think it's a scam.

Don't know how they got my number....They even said hi to me by name.

Here's the message...

I then asked, ? Who is this??

They replied....

oh no I have no battery life ;(

Just got a text saying to add kaylaflirt on yahoo IM.

Yea I'm guessing it's spam. Just got a message to add haileyflirt on yahoo

she texted me and told me to meet her on skype at alexandraflirt! this happened last night 12/9/2012 the name is no longer on skype!
