This number 769-251-4754 keeps calling me and  making threats.

770-210-8501: According to the "White Pages", # apparently belongs to -

However, when you call the # back, it tells you "the number has been disconnected or no longer in service"! Funny! The # just called my 87 y.o. mom's #! Another SCAM "Shadow" company riding in on someone else's # or i.d. They use out dated lists they purchase or obtain erroneously, then call everyone on the list and threaten/harass them to pay for something they no longer owe or has reached the statute of limitations on collections (can't legally collect). Other than physically locating them and "taking them out.", nothing you can do except ignore/DO NOT answer "unknown calls. Do NOT have any conversation with them! ALWAYS. Unless you have the $ to pursue them legally, which most of us do not want to nor have the time. Remember: THEY HAVE NO POWER UNLESS YOU GIVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY!" NO CONTACT = NO OPPORTUNITY.

I received a phone call from these people. Since I work for the largest credit agency, I knew exactly why they were calling. An old apartment complex that I lived in (Alexander Ridge - GA) had asked me to pay bogus charges that I blatantly refused to pay. $250 for painting a bedroom they told me I didn't have to repaint because it was a neutral color, $80 for not cleaning the oven (literally pressing a button), and another $200 for trash removal (that was our neighbor's).

These charges came about when they did the final walk-through of the apartment WITHOUT ME present. This by the way, is against the law. I've verified with several sources. There's a walk-through document as well - which of course does NOT have my signature agreeing to any of those charges.

Needless to say the apartment complex pawned me off to a collection agency. It's called Quality Recovery in Lovejoy, GA. I returned a phone call to the lady and explained that I'm not paying and I didn't sign the document agreeing to these charges. I also explained how I tried to be civil and speak with the apartment complex, but of course they were jerks who wanted to nickel and dime people who are leaving their complex.

After about 25 minutes of going back and forth with this agency, she basically told me that I have no choice but to pay. They never threatened me, but they did send a letter to my mom's house (my previous address) notifying me of late charges. This charge really isn't enough for me to take them to court, so I guess it can sit on my credit another 5 years. Bottom line - they don't want to talk like normal people and they won't be getting money from me.

My brother got a call from this number. Lady asking for me. 1st of all how did she get his number. I never used his number for anything. She didnt identify who she was. Then I got a called to my phone but they didn't leave a message.

Called my cell phone looking for my brother. Took a message, but will not answer the call again.

It's a collection agency.

No idea who is calling from this #.  Person does not leave a msg. nor does she states who she is calling on behalf of.

Pretty sure this is a collection agency used by either Grady or Piedmont Hospitals. I went to Grady's ER in 2005 and used my health insurance. They ended up billing me for the entire balance of the visit saying they did not receive any health insurance info, and that they couldn't apply the insurance to balance because the records of the visit were gone.

If the records were gone, how did they know I visited, or owed money? Don;t ever use that shite hospital if you know whats good for you. I waited eight hours for an antibiotic prescription.

They called at 9:30 am on a Monday, to my cell phone number.  Did not leave a message, although I am in the state of Georgia

Someone called my mother, and left a message asking for me or my roommate (we live 85 miles away from her), and threatening her.  On a previous occasion, someone from the same number called at 1:00AM and left a similar message on her answering machine.

Please, do the right thing.  These people have been harassing and threatening my mother and my roommate's mother for weeks.  In fact, my mother is to the point that she's afraid to answer the phone.  I'm in the phone book--they could call me, but they haven't.  My roommate and I have both been skip tracers in the past; we would set the person straight if only we actually received the calls.  So do the legally correct thing and report her.

My mother is going to report them to the sheriff's department if they call threateningly again.  Unfortunately, she deleted the last message.

i received a call at my place of employment on june 16, 2009,,,the female called from 770 210 9156,,refuse to id herself, instead as i said what my name was, this person proceeded to let me know that she has now located my job and she has an account from higland apartments that she is now going to have my check garnished because i am in the state of georgia. frist of all i need not to be reminded of what state i live, but instead what you need to do is follow the fdcpa when asked who you are or where youre calling from? what do you do? she has no idea that my job title is repossession coordinator! so please what do i do here? follow the rules and file a report to the bbc or should i call and educate her with the fdcpa?

Recieving calls from 770 210 9156 on my cel phone that uses up my minutes which costs me money for this company's non-sense calls.  A credit collection company named Quality Recovery Services, inc. in Georgia.  Since I have an excellent A+ credit score, and owe absolutely no one except a monthly mortgage payment, why do these people call on my cel number, and where do their get my cel number???  I have flawless credit nad always have.  Is Verizon Phone Company selling my cel number to other businesses?  I had more respect for Version than this. Version Wireless apparently stooping to this level, as I do not give my cel number out to any company, I have my house phone that I give to businesses.
