They call me everyday.  Who is it?

I keep receiving calls from this number. When I try to call back, a recording says that the number is not in service.

just got my first call today.  no answer and no response either.

i just got a call from this # and they asked for me they said my name and last name .. but im at work so i had to hang up right away i dint get a chance to speak to this person but when i call back a anwser machine comes on saying the number is not in service but it is a recording... realy weird...

omg yes that must be carmax i do have a veichle from there uuummmm still weird.

What exactly is Carmax?  I just got a call from this number too, but my answering machine picked it up...Of Course, there was no message...

I'm 3rd owner of as car that the "previous owner" bought from Carmax. Are they that low to have to troll for proxy business

Yes this is a carmax call.
Be forewarned, they will call relatives of inlaws of distant cousins and tell them that you listed them as "personal referrences"  

They will call each and every person on your street and leave a message if need be.
If the people take a message, they will consider that a connection to you and an invitation to keep hounding those people until and unless they tell them "no, this has nothing to do with me, take our number off your calling list"  Period.

A long while ago, I had several neighbors come to the door with phone numbers and referrence numbers and they were furious that I had "listed them as personal referrences" when of course, not knowing half these people, I did not. Also, they tried calling the neighbors and my fiance and everyone that was on my cell phone history.
I think they do the office work for Hell itself.

No reply - silence upon answering

This number keeps calling my cell phone, when I try to call it back, the automated system says that the # is not valid, how wierd.

Same thing happened to me. I kept saying hello...and they hung up!

Glad I found this page! I have been crazy busy with school, work, my ebay stuff, mary kay..that I forgot to pay my car note! Yikes! Just went online to pay it! Ugh... thank God for the internet! :)

another company hiding behind a auotdialer

Got the call today and it was quiet on the other end for a few seconds and "click" they hung up. When I called back it was a disconnected numbe, strange.

We have been receiving calls from this number about 5-6 times a day.  They are asking for someone we do not know.  I have told them that they have the wrong number NUMEROUS times and they say they will remove our number only to get a call back 15 minutes later from the same number, different person.

called my home, and yes money is owed, but when i tried calling this number back i get "number has been disconnected" hmmmm so if they want to resolve this in a professional manner why use a number that can not be returned, another fly by night loan company i guess

I don't owe carmax any money but they are calling me.

CarMax auto finance, don't answer if you haven't paid your car note. as soon as they get a chance to talk to you, they will tell you your car will be re pod.

for the last two weeks they've been calling me night and day, even during school! For the first couple of times they left me messages that were some unintelligible spiel that lasts for about 20 seconds. But recently it's just been 3-5 seconds of silence, and then a hangup.

If they keep harassing you call the number and give em 123-45-6789 for your social security number and give em a name Bart Simpson used on Moe's Tavern. I did that and they took my number off their list

this number is harrassing me on a daily basis. I get calls from 8am-9pm daily! This will stop!

I received a call from 770-308-0117 and i answered it and it was CARMAX.

and when i answer there's jst silence
