Caller asked to speak to someone who does not live here. The "same" call happened from another phone number also beginning 770 a few days before. I suspect the caller is a debt collector trying to harass me into helping him track down the named person (who has a relatively common name). The caller probably switches phone numbers to make it harder to block their calls. Each time, I told the caller that the named person does not live here. Of course I feel a little sorry for people who make bad loans, until I remember that they made the decision to make the loan and, because of the "iffy-ness" of the loan, to charge what is probably an unconscionable rate. I was not a party to the deal, so leave me out of it.
