I have been getting calls all day today from 770-439-7989.  They let it ring 3 times & hang up all thru-out the day.  I had to do *69 to get the number as I don't have caller ID.  I would like to report them for harassment at the very least.  If this is related to a time share, I turned my time share over to the owners several years ago as I lost my job to outsourcing to India.  I haven't been able to find a job, so the time share was the least of my worries.

Getting calls from this company the last two days. First day three times, today five or six. I decided to look here to see if it's a telemarketer, of course who the Heck else would call that many times. Don't own and never will own a timeshare! Glad I have a phone I can block numbers on, here goes another. Oh yeah, I'm on the do not call list too!

I have been receiving calls from this person all day long.  I have no idea how many i have had and they just keep calling.  I have an answering machine and they never leave a message.  I put it in the computer anc evadently it belongs to a time share company.  I do not have a time share and DO NO WANT ONE.  It is nothing but a SCAM.  I have a friend that has a time share and she can't use it because they give it out to someone else and she finaly just gave it back to them and they had paid $10,000  on it and was still paying upkeep for it.  She finally just gave it back to them and lost what she had paid in on it.  She wanted to sell it but she would have had to put up more money on it.  You don't throw good money after bad.
They are calling again they wait five or ten minutes and call back.

Well this pos scumbag called.  Said he is with our timeshare.  I told him that is odd, we don't have a timeshare of any kind.  He then tried to argue with me that we were listed on a time share.  I said that is impossible. I am not stupid enough to buy into a time share.  I asked him to take our name off.  I never had a time share, never will, and my credit being as spotty as it is, nobody is going to finance us a timeshare, ever.

Called my home phone 10 times in the past 24 hours. Husband told them we were not interested. I answered today and told them to quit calling us. He said he wanted to talk to us about our timeshare. I told him we do not have a timeshare through RCI and to quit calling. He said they represent all timeshares. I again said I would not talk to him about anything and to quit calling. He said he will call back in 5 minutes because of my bad attitude.

This number has been calling for days/weeks.  If you answer, no one is there.  If you call back, says not a working number.  The calls are 5-6 times a day.

Same as documented previously: Timeshare strongarm. They have recently been peppering us with calls. Since they ignore Do-Not-Call my solution is simple. Our phone allows you to assign a special ringtone to specific numbers. I have added a ringtone that is silence. I assigned that ringtone to this number. I never hear them call. Since they don't leave a message, they have effectively gone away.

The tricky ones change their calling number. More work for me.

this number calls my house 7 days a week from 8 am to sometimes 10 pm. When I answer there is no one there and when I let it go to my machine they just hang up. How do you make them stop if there is no one to ever talk too?

I get calls almost every day from this number.  I answered it one time and they are trying to give me a "free trip" to Florida to listen to their pitch.  I told the guy that I hate Florida and will never go there again even if it was a free trip.  So he wanted me to go to Las Vegas or somewhere else.  I told him That I belong to Worldmark timeshare and already have an RCI membership as a side benefit, so don't call me any more.  They call me several times a week.  I am reporting this to the Do Not Call Complaint line.

Received a call from this number.  The caller ID listed as RCI Pts GLH  The agent invited us to an "RCI update" to tell us about new enhancements to their programs.  Since we own timeshares but are not RCI members, we thought we would check it out - especially for a free dinner.  When we arrived at the Applebee's, we were greeted and then the rep said he was with R & R Ventures and was contracted by the federal government to tell timeshare owners about the benefits available to them as a prior member of RCI that were a result of a class action suit against RCI.  He went on to say that "the federal judge determined that" as an anti-trust measure and as compensation for the shady practices of RCI, prior timeshare owners could convert from fixed & floating weeks to points at no charge.  Prior RCI members were entitled to exchanges through VSI for a one-time per year fee of $199 only if they underwent an exchange and were not obligated to an annual membership for the service if they did no exchanages. Furthermore we could "sell" some or all of theese points to Excess Property Solutions for a guaranteed 7.5 cents per point for a one-time enrollment fee of $498.  He said he was representing the companies to make us aware of these "enhancements", but he was not selling anything.  If we had not responded to the RCI class action suit, we could participate with no out of pocket costs.  He said his manager could look up whether or not we had responded.  While the manager was "looking it up,"  I asked him why the caller ID said RCI, if they weren't with RCI.  He told me they were a contracted marketing firm and were paid based on how many appointments they made, so they would do whatever was needed to get the appointment.  I said they should discontinue their relationship with a firm that would use those tactics. Then he turned us over to the manager who told us we could convert our fixed week and our floating week into 75000 points, and since we had not responded to the class action suit, we would get 100,000 bonus points that we could sell as well.  And guess what?  It would only cost us a little over $9000!  Not to worry, that $9000 would be discounted by $1000 if we paid with a personal check  and we would get another bonus of 50,000 points.  And when we sold the above mentioned points, we would receive a payment (in SIX MONTHS!) that would be more than we paid, so we would MAKE money on the deal. Since my husband has just been diagnosed with a serious   illness and we don't anticipate traveling soon, this seemed like an answer to prayer.  We ate dinner while he produced the paperwork.  However, these point values seemed way out of whack, so we Googled the respective entities ( R&R, VSI, EPS).  VSI seems legit, but their site specifically mentioned that they had no traveling representatives like these guys.  R&R and EPS seemed related and both out of Las Vegas with "F" BBB ratings.  And then they produced the paperwork -all four pages.  Yeah, no real estate deal has that little paperwork.  Furthermore, what little verbage existed was full of "weasel language.  For instance, the guarantee was a "GUARANTEE of your share of the rental pool profit which is projected to be 7.5 cents per point."  (BTW, the all caps was theirs, not mine - just a way to call attention to the guarantee part, rather than the weasel languaage.  In other words, if the rental pool makes no money (or if you can't PROVE it made money) -your share of $0 is $0.  We refused to sign and left.  The next day I got a phone call from R&R Venture Group at 702-431-7770 to confirm our "purchase".  I told her (I think her name was April?) that we had refused to sign and DID NOT purchase.  She seemed bewildered and confused, but said she "would make a note."  Be very careful!  If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!  I just hope we didn't give enough info for them to raid our bank account or something!

Caller ID says RCI PTS GLH.  The number is in Hiram, GA, as others have reported.
The woman on the phone said RCI wanted me to know about some of their new enhanced features so that we could better use their services, and signed us up for a meeting.  She said we would not get any sort of sales pitch.

When my wife and I showed up at the meeting, Robert greeted me and started into a spiel about VSI and class action timeshare lawsuits.  He claimed to be with R and R Collections in Las Vegas; which, by the way, is not registered with the NV Secretary of State.

Me: Robert, aren't you with RCI?
Robert:  No, what gave you that impression?
Me: Well, the woman on the phone who signed me up to talk with you said this was an RCI meeting.
Robert:  I don't know anything about that; who did you talk with?  What's her name?
Me:  I don't recall.

When thrown this curve-ball, we walked away without further discussion; but Robert was kind enough to buy our lunch before we left.  Thank you, Robert.

I called RCI, spoke with a supervisor.  They are not affiliated with RCI PTS GLH.  They said companies are telling RCI customers they can sell their weeks for them, and return a cash profit to them.
But RCI explained that someone who deposits their time with RCI agrees NOT to re-sell the time to anyone else; the result is to lose their RCI membership.  They said to look very closely at the details,
