This is an intricate scam trying to pry you of personal information.  The more I look into this number and associated numbers the more I find out how deceptive this wholle thing is.  
I have tracked down the people and al their personal information, so if anybody who has been scamed by these scumbags you will be able to find them by typing any of these numbers into a google web search.

I have been getting calls from this number every day for the past week or so.  I finally answered and some lady named kathy called telling me I won $1,000.00 shopping spree but I had to have a credit card and I had to agree to purchase 60 months (5 years) of either TV Guide, US News, or Time at the "low rate" of $3.99 per weekly issue.  Well folks if you do the math the total price of the magazine comes out to $1, 037.40.
I went along with it just to see what they had to offer.  Kathy told me that her supervisor will call back in a few months to confirm the order.  Sandy the supervisor called back, well I told her that I was not interested.  "The cost of the magazine exceeds the $1,000" and her respons was "well a can of Coke everyday would come out to be the same as the magazine."  
I started to thank her anyways but she got mad and hung up on me.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!  Get a life lady!

I just got the same call about the $1000 and the magazines. I didnt hang up right away because I wanted to see what MO is these people using to scam the money out of other people. It was interesting to see how "nice" they get about stuff you "like" and all out of the blue your favorite magazines are they favorite magazines. LOL Good luck to that people trying to get others, because they were not successfull with me.

I've received several calls from this number and similar numbers. No voicemail and I didn't answer. Some kind of scam. Other numbers are 770-532-5792, 770-532-5896, 770-536-3496, and 770-536-1472.

someone calls me from this number several times a day .........i do not answer...last time i answered this lady kept trying to get me to give her my credit card number..regardless, i do not give it out over the phone so no deal.

Received a call from this number on my private cell phone.  Called this number back, I was hung up on.  I have called a few times and get no answer or a message that indicates the mailbox is full.

I had a missed call from 770-536-1507. I caled them back from work & when a lady answered she asked me my Name, first & last. I didn't answer her but asked who I was calling. She said something "Reader Services" &I asked what they do. She said that they process accounts for magazines. I told her I had no current subscriptions & she told me to have a great day!

Got a call from 770-503-7433, same offer, Time for $3.99 for what I thought they said was a year and I would get 3 free subscriptions for 3 years and the $1000 shopping spree.  I asked for details in writing and was told this was not possible.

I had a similiar call from 770-532-5769 and Paige told me I won $1,000 shopping spree.  She wanted to know what year I was born and told me about a magazine deal.  Seems like a scam so I did not give cc info.

The Real Story behind this:  The Number is actually traced back to a Christopher Miller who resides at 4243 Tuckersham Ln, Tucker, GA 30084.
His Home Number is 770-934-3112 Cell# 404-226-9821.  
There are also two other names that come up with number: Thelma Sosebee @3016 Baker Rd, Gainesville, GA 30507

Only received one call from this number (November 19th).  I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message.  Haven't heard back from this number since.

when i picked up they said something about my name being put into some sort of draw for something credit-card-related.
I dont have but they said the best of luck to me.

It is from HSBC or Orchard Bank credit card.

Rings and when I answer they hang up. I call back and a lady's voicemail says that this is the do not call center and leave a message if u want your name and # off the list, but the inbox is too full for me to leave a message. They call everyday, I don't know how they got my number.

recieved a call from number on 5/10/07 called back no answer very wierd just rings  no aswer machine

Just got a call and as soon as I answered (thought it was same people from 770-499-8759) they hung up.  SCAM!
