It's 1:35 and they have already called here 3 times today alone. Jennifer claimed that she talked to my boss and he asked her to call him back. He said he has never talked to her and never will. She claimed she was from Sentry. Oh, and they ask for a co-owner or the boss's cell phone number. I just laugh in their face.
Got a call from them at my office, asking for the owner. I told him she wasn't here (she wasn't) and then he asked for her cell phone. That's a bit ballsy for a telemarketer. I told him I could take a message, but he said he'd call back later. After seeing all the comments on here, if he calls back I'll tell him to remove us from the calling list.
I have reported these scamming basturds to the FTC slackards a dozen times the past year and they still call. Please contact your congress member and tell them to defund these useless govt people who are living on our tax money and do nothing!!!

It makes me feel quite angry while I am waiting on calls from my child's doctor or lab or school and the phone keeps ringing with these jerks calling.
they called they demanded i give them the owners name and phone, i said i know nothing about who you are or what you do can you please tell me and they would not she only said "look if you don't give me the info I will just keep calling, I said please remove us from your list and do not call again" she wasn't happy and didn't say she would remove use from their list. After realizing I am not going to give them any info she said ok mam never mind and hung up. PS I stayed polite with them.
Ok - so today we got YET ANOTHER unwanted call from this damn dirty little scam company- and the oh-so- smarmy phone rep imperiously demanded to speak to our owner and nobody else right away about a sensitive business matter - when probed her by querying what it was she was selling she got huffy and claimed she was not trying to sell anything (liar) and she went further to say it was about vital security breach information - bahaha- what a flippin joke - amazing that this crap actually works for them sometimes - but I was not born yesterday and they are not getting by this gate-keeper - so I left them on indefinite hold once again - ANNND our hold music is truly vile - then after they finally gave up and hung up I called them back and demanded to speak to their owner immediately about a pending Can of Whoop-A** that we were about to unleash upon them (seems about fair right?) and I informed him that if they did not want to be reported to the state attorney generals office, the FCC, the FTC and the Local Police for attempting to utilize terroristic threats to intimidate individuals at our place of business (btw- folks thats a felony) that they need to loose our digits - PRONTO - I also let them know as a courtesy that the next unwelcome call they make to us will be met by an air-horn blowing their phone twits eardrum straight out of her headset - Deafness anyone? So PLEASE I am begging you- do F~ with me again SENTRY CAMERA SALES WEASEL bi****s!

I have to cold call customers myself, so when this company called, I gave them one shot. I asked what
was the call regarding. I got some double speak saying protocal on a business matter. They blew it.
Within 15 minutes i had 4 calls from this company all asking the for the owner and the owner "only". Then they go on to ask her another number to contact him. umm.. NO. Each person i told not to call again and then i would get the next call. Outrageous and annoying!
They called again today; different person, this time a gal. "Is there another number that he can be reached at?" "Is there a better time to reach him?" "Does he have a business partner?"
"I'll just have to try him back at another time."

I used to keep an actual LIST of "ignore" numbers, taped right by the phone. It got SO LONG that I finally took it down. But it looks like it's time to start compiling them, again.

The number of junk calls my office gets in a day is astounding. This one, he asks for the boss by name, but of course is told that the boss is not available. "Do you know when he'll be in?" "Is there another number I can reach him at?" "Is there someone else who handles the business decisions?"

To Maria and Freedom: I get a call about every 30 minutes from telemarketers. Everyone of these calls is an inconvenience and I WOULD NEVER NEVER EVER do business with any telemarketer. They are wasting my time. Telling the telemarketer this is like talking to a jacka**. We need a law where telemarketing is illegal because they are ruining the productivity and viability of every business they call especially small businesses where the owner does all the work including answering the phone. I am always busy when they call and INTERUPT ME. I do not get paid to answer their call. I nearly broke my leg climbing down from a ladder to answer the phone to find the SAME DAMN company that I do not want to be called by then ever.

It seems like it's a legit business that's employing very annoying marketing practices but it's not a criminal syndicate. People need to get some perspective. It's a phone call, not a death threat. Just say "Yes, Hi. I'm the owner, please stop calling us I'm not interested in new services. Thank you." Wasn't hard.

I think i lucked out. After many days of phone calls, i politely asked what it was about they politely told me, security systems. And I told them to remove us off their list. They have not called back for a few days now. We'll see how that holds up.

After a few days of calls, I let them know that this was a company number and to please take us off their list. So far it seems that they have.
Look, there's a difference between cold calling (which many companies do) and harassment (which many scam artists do).

This Company's unsolicited harassment is illegal, intrusive and disruptive to the businesses they call. They have no respect for others and continue to call and harass our office personnel when we have given them our number and told them "DO NOT CALL AGAIN!" We block their number and they call next day from another one - same female caller. She's an unholy biotch.
"Be nice" to these rude, obnoxious cretins, allow them to bully and harrass our employees and disrupt our business? Uh...no. If they call again, they will be dealing with our legal dept. and then we'll see who's laughing.

Our office is being bombarded with calls at all hours from this company - Sentry Surveillance in Kennesaw, GA - even though I have explained to them that I am the Office Mgr., we are not interested in their services and they are to remove us from their call list, we have gotten 2 more calls this week! They are very rude and demand to talk to "the Owner." I spoke with "Daniel" at Sentry several weeks ago and told him to remove us from their call list - but the calls persist! I just got another call from the same lady who called earlier this week and I told her to STOP HARRASSING OUR OFFICE, that I am the Office Mgr. and I - not the "Owner" - deal with these matters. The b--ch then said, "I need to speak to the Owner." So I turned the tables, called them back and asked to speak to "THEIR Owner" and was told "He's out." I said, then I want to speak with whomever is in charge because the calls were going to top RIGHT NOW! I spoke with their "Operations Mgr." who told me they ask to speak to the Owner of the company when they call because the "gatekeepers" who answer the phones are usually the perpetrators of crime in their offices. I told this moron that I help answer our office phones, that I manage the office, have multiple degrees and am certainly no criminal. I told him I had recently told them to put our number on their Do Not Call List yet they continue to harrass the hell out of us at all hours with their calls. I block their number so they call us from another number. Next time this Company disrupts our company business with their sales solicitations, they will be dealing with our legal dept. These calls constitute harrassment and should be illegal. Their bully tactics are going to backfire on them when we sue them.

My name is Jenn and SSI has continued to call my office. I have had different people call and introduce themselves as so and so from Century. They are demanding to speak to the owner and they are telling me he has an appointment with them. My owner does not nor has ever had an appointment with them. The continue to call and harass us.
Received a call from this number, and the woman asked 'Who is the Pastor of this church? I need to speak to him." I suggested she speak with his assistant, she refused, and hung up. I kindly called their number, (770.592.0400) and asked to have our church number removed from their list. With a heavy sigh, the person who answered the phone transferred me to 'Dan'. Dan asked for the church number, HE repeated the Pastor's name, and said it has been done. We'll see...
Rec'd first call yesterday, they asked for the owner and were told he's not in. They called again today. I took the call and asked who I was speaking to. She asked if I was the owner. I told her no, nut I needed to know the nature of the call before I could refer her to the owner. She became belligerent and I asked for her supervisor. She told me I could reach Mike Chase at 770-592-0400 but that she couldn't transfer my call. I called Mike Chase and informed him that the owner would not be available to speak with and that I was authorized to make decisions on his behalf. He said that it was against company policy to speak with anyone other than the owner. I told him that that was unfortunate, because if he doesn't talk to me, he'll never talk to the owner. He hung up on me. I called back and asked the receptionist for Mike Chase's supervisor and was given Chris Allen. He was cordial until I told him that he was not to call my business anymore, ever. He asked for the other numbers that were ours, which I gave him. I informed him that if anyone from Sentry called again, I would register a formal complaint with the FCC. He said I shouldn't make idle threats, to which I said it's not a threat...
We'll see what happens.
Ooooops...I've started calling them at regular intervals and asking for the owner...and hanging up...and calling right back. Won't take me off your call list, eh? I've got ALL day for this...
