Received a call from this number, there was a pause, then he ask for me by miss pronouncing my name. I told them they had the wrong number and hung up. I didn't give them a chance to say anything.

Oh boy, did I get one over on these guys!!!  A friend had told me about this number, so when I picked up, I answered as if they had reached our local police department's switchboard, saying:  " ******** Police Department, how may I direct your call? "  There was the pause y'all mentioned, so I said it again.  Then the guy asked for my husband by name, and I responded: "You have reached the ******** Police Department, is there a problem? "  CLICK!!!  OMG!!!   I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants!  Am seriously considering doing this sort of thing again with many many telemarketer/scam/fraud calls.   I usually ignore calls I don't recognize, but am now looking forward to having FUN with the morons!!!!!!!  

Repeated calls from this number. There was a delay in responding and recording asked for us by name!  

Received unsolicited call from this number.  There was a delay in the call answering which normally indicates a computer call. They identified themselves as the National Fraternal Order of Police.
