Though I didn't recognize the number 281-984-2200, it look legit so I answered the phone around 3:05pm April 20, 2009. After asking for me by my first name, the Anglo-sounding male hung up.  It seemed odd.

me and my mom have been getting calls from this number, too, asking for donations for the homeless kids. when my mom questions the caller about being a legit foundation they say yes, but they need her to spell her first and last name. my mom refused, saying if it was a legit foundation, they wouldn't need her to spell her name. they hung up after that.
we have been getting calls mid-may up to today.

Phone rung about 3 times I did not recognize caller so I did not answer, and they did not leave a message.

I got several phone calls from this number but I haven't been home at the time they called. Since I don't recognize the number I never called back. That's why I search for the number to get more information about it. Thanks for your comment. That helps to protect each other.

281-984-2200 called my mobile number on 5-8-2009. This shows up as a Houston Texas area code. The message just said my call was very important to them and that someone would be with me shortly. I hung up.

Received a call t 6.56 on 5/7 for the Greater Good of Hungry Children for this number.  Tried Running Guggle check and found nothing.  However I let a barrage of angere off on caller. Said it was bs to be calling about hungry children.  There are too many programs to take care of them as is.  They get free breakfast, free lunch, free medicine, and free dental bare minimum.

Told him I had rare disease and there were 4 other children in town that had same thing. They received government funds and I don't qualify because am adult. I am the one struggling not to be hungry and keep roof over head. And he had the audacity to call my home! BOy was I PO'd.  I have been trying to get help for some time--while the children get the money all the time.



He used my name when he called. If I could have gotten my hands around his neck!! Is this part of OBama's games?

I got a call from this number at my house on May 7,2009 at around 4:16 PM Central time. They asked for me by name then there was nothing but silence. Very weird.

Greater good childrens foundation??? Never heard of them.

I received a call from this number. I called back. Some female (hispanic accent) answered claiming to be an un-named charity collecting donations. I demanded for them to take my number off this calling list.

Got a call from this number called it back was placed on hold no one ever picked up and its so strange how it gives no information about the company, etc.... Caller ID stated it was a Texas Caller....

I received this call around 9pm on April 20th but i missed it and didnt realize it until about midnight.  I called it back but all I got was the voicemail. The voice on the message said "Sorry we are closed at this time... please call us later." Weird that they didnt give a name or any other info...

Ditto.  He called my home phone, asked for me by name and it disconnected.  I called back and it said (paraphrased): support line - someone will be right with you.

ditto all of the above?? I wonder if he is looking for someone in particular? at round 3pm hmmm.

i got a blank message from this number at about 3:05 april 20th 2009 as well

Called my cell this afternoon around 3:00, I answered because I was expecting a delivery and thought this might be related to it--wrong! When I answered, there was no response, just dead air...

10:44AM left no message after letting phone ring till the machine picked up.

Did not leave a message.

called again 8:26 p.m. - I didn't answer.

Asked for me by first name and hung up when I asked who was calling.
