Scammers.  The area code is from Georgia but the prefix "678" is not from Georgia.  These are definitely SCAMMERS that cannot be traced.  DO NOT answer or talk with them.

I dont pick up calls from names or numbers I do not recognize.  I hook up to fax machine and/or block number.  These people are scammers.  Dont give in to them.

Called and left no message.  3 pages of complaints and no one knows what they are trying to sell you?   Not exactly the pinnacle of telemarketing.

I have "filed" complaint after complaint to the  FTC.  I still get calls from these (and other) clowns.  When I call them back I get "This number can not be compleated"?  WTF?

I am tired of recieving calls from this number. How do I stop it ?

Really huh, in regards to the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, or you have to go thur loop holes just to get something done from them! Its a joke!!! But, that is why these companies use those automated calling machines...they can put in any name, and a range of number and it calls, over and over until they get a bait: someone answers...and then when you do get to talk w/a person, tell them to stop calling, or whatever...you get hung up on! This wasn't Spanish speaking one though, maybe you live in an area w/a lot of Spanish or Hispanic speaking ppl?!? hmmmm.....Maybe through this site, more aware w/b out there, and more ppl w/post, stop answering their calls, and they will stop! Its worth it, since can't get any other help from the registry do not call....

very obnoxious callers.  First a woman calls, then a guy calls with obscenities.  All in Spanish.

The call is unknown caller and the woman speaks spanish, I said I don't understand what your saying.

Calling my elderly father.  He is on the do-not-call list.

Someone said ol la, asked who and they remained quiet.  RUDE, this is a business and I don't need this rude foreigners playing games.  Your in america, be American and get a job rather than harrassing people.

called me when i answered hear voice of a woman talking to a man in the backgroung speaking Not english I said hello and they would not say anything, I listened for a while to someone p/up didnt say a word a call was disconnected. huh?

This number call me too but when I called it back the recorded message said "This number is not in service" I am in Tampa FL

Same idiot keeps calling never leaving a message, never talking, and the number cannot be called back.  Potentail solution:  Softly whistle into phone and gradually increase volume.  It will drive the caller nuts.

Number shows up on my phone. No message left on voice mail or answering machine. Lots of hang-up type of calls.

They called my house, but no answer at all.

I too have a Panasonic cordless phone with talking caller id and it too blocks telephone numbers, also has distinctive ringing.  Bought a 4 phone set at Goodwill for $10.

It uses Ni-Mh AAA Batteries.

Do you have a direct line to Immigration and Customs Enforcement?  I usually call forward selective a slew of these calls to Nancy Pelosi's office.

I got a call from that number above.  The caller didn't speak ,just mumbled. I think all of us that are receiving these calls should report it to the proper authorities. Who that is I don't know, but I will find out after a few minutes of researching this and will post it on here.  

They should get a life and leave people alone, especially people who work graveyard .

Nothing is going to stop these scammers and lazy collection agency who call everyone with the same name instead of looking up the right one and all we can do is block them or use call forward selective..  DNC does not work when they are robo dialing all possible random numbers. The authorities can not or will not help either.

So, just block them, don't answer unknown calls, and continue using this great site for information to be in control of your own home and cell phone calls.  If it turns out that you did not answer a call from someone you know (number not on this site), just call them back.  No problem.  Its alot of work that I do (checking the number on this web site, blocking the caller, and making my own excel spreadsheet of numbers) but at least I FEEL like I have a little control of the situation. Maybe I'm delusional.

(also my panasonic phone blocks 20 numbers.  It is simple to do and works for the calls that might be 29 times a day.)

Some idiot who speaks spanish made this fake call. I'd say this call was made by somebody that supports illegal immigration, most probably some boiler room filth?

Record the call, and answer with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Are you a United States citizen?  followed by We and Sheriff Joe Arpio are using this telephone line as a trap to locate and deport illegal aliens and we don't answer to the Kenyan Dictator Osama Obama, may we have your location please?

Called and left voicemail message that just said "buenas dias" then hung up.

Received a call from this number at 9:55 am, Mountain Time today. At first no response when I said hello, then a lady said, 'Do you speak Spanish.' I said no, then she hung up. Will not answer when they call again. Obviously this is a scam...!

phone # called me first "out of area".  then called again with this # on caller id.  I did not answer either call as I did not reconize the caller etc.  and they left NO message.

Caller ID is wonderful. I did not answer.

They started calling three days ago. I don't answer calls that I don't recognize.
I'm having my land line disconnected on Tuesday so that will take care of the problem. I am tired of paying the phone company to deliver all these unwanted calls.

First call shows up as unavailable out of area.  Within seconds a second call comes in with just this phone number, I say hello & no response, then a click & either a partial word is spoken in spanish or I hear noise in the background so I say hello again, then they hang up.  Calling back to tell them I'm on National Do Not Call & to remove my number results in recorded message that the number has been disconnected.  I'm reporting this number to the National Do Not Call registry which is then sent to the FTC.

Strangest message from this number. Sounded like a woman singing poorly in Spanish.
A lot of people get calls from this number is it a google voice line? How can they afford to call long distance just to leave a bunch of nonsense on voicemail?
