I made payments on a loan for Ace cash express in Texas to a company called Revenue Management Consulting Group, I missed one payment and started receiving phone calls from this a** Stewart Wallace but from 678-534-7585, I tried to ask him if there was anyway I could make a partial payment, and he said if I couldn't come up with the full amount the sheriff was gonna come to my job and take me to jail. so i started searching for him and the company he works for and I found this page, then I tried calling the number on here and it goes to a medical supplies company. I have been making payments faithfully for the past 3 months, but my account was over drawn. I know in Texas loan companies can file for legal action, but they have to have reason to believe you intentionally took out the loan knowing you weren't going to pay it back which is clearly not the case since my loan was originally $1200 and the balance is now $250. Can somebody please Help me!

Bull these people do get ur info. From pay day loans.  But if u don't owe as I don't.  Then its obvious its a damn scam.  But don't think that they don't have ur personal info. Because they do.  So I see someone saying pay ur bills guess what I do so this person saying this is also a scammer.

This company is a fraud don't believe anything this guy Stuart Wallace says he claims to be an attorney which that's a lie, he's real name is Laterrance Hall. This is a regular collection agency that lies in order to get peoples money. If anyone from this office calls make sure to record the conversation and take it to the attorney general to report them. I have already done it myself they're looking into investigating him for fraud activity. Don't let them fool you into paying them it's all a fraud.

I got the same call  i been paying over a year now but never got any papers they told me that they will take me to court for credit card fraud now im in point where i cant pay like i us to im hearing the same thing what should i do???

it's absurd the lengths people will go to just to avoid paying a debt that they know they owe. Per the secretary of state and city of marietta the business is legit. You had no problem borrowing the funds so  why is it an issue to pay it back? Do urselves a favor and pay ur debts instead of trying to weasle out of them.

First of they cannot threating you into paying them. Second thats not even a firm like they claim to be there a scam. The best advise that i can give you is to report them to the attorney general for giving fraudulent information. If they contact you again record the conversation an give it to and attorney you'll have a lawsuit. Dont let these guys fool you.

Someone from this number called me harrasing me saying that i had a warrant for my arrest that if i didnt pay this they were gonna send the sheriff to pick me up. I contact the attorney general about this and hes looking into it now. These people are a scam don't believe anything they say and record the conversation.

Please advise me if you can do this!  They've taken me for $350 which I paid.  I DID have this debt and at the time figured best to pay.  Little did I know about this scam!  I am on fixed income and this did a number on my budget.  I am one to help catch these B!!!!!!!!'s.

I forgot to mention he also stated they they would forward my file to the county court where I live if I didn't make arrangements with him. Can they do that? Not that I care, since I live on disability and cannot afford catfood much less anything else LOL

The call I got was from 678-735-7378 and 7377, but both claimed to be Greenberg Wallace & Associates. The 1st one was a female whose name was "Investigator Frasier", then the next was a guy named "Michael Scott" (Isn't that the name of the character on The Office sitcom?) Anyway, he started telling me I owed this payday loan and they had tried everything now he was giving me one last chance to pay this. I explained I have been disabled with MS for 9 years, and that if it was legitimate, just send me documentation to look over. I said if it was mine I would pay, but that I wanted written documents. He refused, said they had already sent me more than I needed. I said I had never received anything for him or anyone else, and that by refusing he was violating the fair credit reporting act. Thats' when he said he was NOT a collection ageny, that his company had been retained by Lemmer and something or other, and that he was simply amassing a "file" on me and would forward it to somewhere I didn't catch. He also mentioned he knew what kind if car I drive, and who it was registered to etc. I again asked for documentation to be mailed, & offered him a mailing address. He refused at least 3 times.

This company called me today as well....I am not sure what it is regarding, but I do NOT want to call them back...the lady on the phone said there was a lawsuit out against me...which when I called my county courts office and gave her my information, she laughed and told me there was nothing of the sort, and that it sounded like a scare tactic.  I have no problem paying money, if I legitimately owe it. But I want something in writing. I haven't received anything in the mail, have NOT changed my address, so wheres the written documentation? I am not just handing over my bank/debit card information, to a law office without knowing what I am paying...sounds fishy to me

yes you are right it is illegal to tell a person they are going to have there wages garnished but it is NOT illegal to tell you what COULD possibly happen. I have been scammed unfortuantly by a scam collection agency was no fun at all but I am the type of person I know if I did this I will take care of this myself because I knowingly did this and it is the right thing to do is to take care of this but I want proof showing I did this. When this company called me I didnt know what to do cause I have been scammed i contacted my lawyer he contacted the company n looked them up with the secretary of state and confirmed it was a legit company they did provide all necessary information to my attorney so my attorney advised me it was legit and i already knew i took out the loan just forgot about it so long ago and too many things going on so he advised me to just take care of it so I did take care of it with the company. Its unfortunate there are collection agency's or collectors out ther that use the herrassing tactics but collection agency's are legal you just have to be careful on who you deal with and confirm everything and there company. Just glad I got that taken care of but if they would have called me herrassing me or threatining me I would have never dealt with them but when i looked up there # i came up with this sight i have to remember all kind of company get complaints on them no matter what kind of company it is especially collection agency's cause of what they are known for so that's why i had to confirm with my attorney and confirm with secretary of state. I know I did this so I will own up to my responsibility and take care of it but not if you herrass me!!

It is ILLEGAL for any collection company to tell you they are going to garnish your wages.

I spoke to a mike davidson he is not indian though. i believe this is an older white guy he tried to get my check garnish i thought this guy was lying i got in contact with the secretary of state and they are a legit company when i figured that out i went ahead an took care of my debt before they tried to garnish my check. Ill becareful with these guys otherwise they may take you into the legal system.

This indian guy called me today, said his name was Mike Davidson, (yeah right) he made at least a dozen threats and would never give me the name of the creditor that I allegedly owe money to.  He refused to send me a letter, he even called my dad.  I want to prosecute these b*****ds for threats and harrassment.  He got on the phone and said he was an attorney, I told him I just googled their firm and he got pissed off, started cussing at me and all kinds of threats followed.  What the hell?  What should I do?

Dont worry your head folks. These people can not do anything to you BUT keep harrassing you to pay, The only organizing body who has the right to garnish your wages in the governemtn and thats only in specific states. I have a great company that works spefically with collection companies who are rude, harsh, and flat out mean when it comes to collecting. This is an actual law office who actually files charges against unethical and illegal collections. I called them for another company who tiple charged me when I was actually making steady payments. Don't let these folks fool you please. By the time my lawyer finished with them, my account with them was paid off, I was reinbursed them amout that I over paid and I also recieved $1000 just for the BS that I had to put up with. I hope all workds out for you. I will be using this same company for "Greenburg Wallace and Associates" simply because they are very unethical and make threats that are against the law. Its sad when you have people who actually want to pay but G.W.&A is so greedy they want all or nothing and the illegal alligations, I will not put up with and I don't suggest that you do either. Got the call today. The guy said first he represented a law firm then I call the number back he answered criminal check division. I took a loan from cashnet four years ago they took there money out of my checking account and that was that or so I though they attempted to remove the money a second time and my bank froze my account and flagged it for fraud had to cancel the account and open another finally had to pay them a second time in order to make my credit happy this was 2008 the file was sent to my local District attorney and did not hear from them until recently called using different company names different tactics I explain the whole situation it falls on def ears I assume its a scam cause if the police have something on you they don't call to tell you they just come get you
