An Agent of this company came to my door around 2:00 AM and knocked awaking my kids and wife. I grabed my gun and put clothes on, but by the time I got to the door, he had gotten into his truck and left. I'm pretty sure they are looking for my vehicle.

As soon as I catch this guy on my front porch or on my property late at night I am going to shoot him in the leg ( or somewhere in the lower body), then call the police to file what I assume to be a possible burgler report.

I do have a job that pays very well thank you very much.  I actually had a reason to be online checking out this website to see if anyone else gets calls from this number.  So I am a loser because I am on the internet?  So when you posted this response where were you?  Unless you used your telepathic abilities to write this post I would guess that you had to go online to do so.  So you do realize that you called yourself a loser too right?  I think that is so funny.

What's really real?  All of the telephone numbers beginning with 770 are not in service right now.  Did they forget to pay their bills?  Also, I'm trying to obtain a real address for them.  The 191 Peachtree Street address is not a real location for them.  They have mail services there, but are not physically located at the address.  They have a virtual office through a company called DaVinci Suites.  If you a physical location from them, please let me know.  The same is for the company Interchange Payment Solutions in Nevada.  It's also a virtual address.  The account is owned by someone named Juanita Boyland.

I watched the video. Hansen stated in his report that these thugs may very well be linked to organized crime.

How else would a bunch of convicted felons get the financing to purchase these worthless debts and operate a boiler room?

Folks let me tell you that these people are a bunch of liars, scum bags, and a whole lot of other things I can't say without swearing.  And AMY, you are a big fat liar as well.  You work for thses pigs and you need to stop googling your own number and making post about your fake summons to court.  These people go out and buy old, out of date debt portfolios and try to scam people out of their money.  They do not have any type of legal authority, nor do they work for the DA, police department, or any other law enforcement agency.  They cant report you to the 3 credit reporting agencies and they cant collect on any debts.  Go a google search on the Chris Hansen files of MSNBC and look up "debt, the next big American crisis".  He does a great story of how these people work.  Thses so called collectors even use the same language of, "put away your guns and dogs because we are sending someone to pick you up".  THESE IDIOTS CANT DO ANYTHING TO YOU!!!!  These types of companies are called debt scavengers or bottom feeders.  Once yopu watch the MSNBC video you will see why.  Don't loose any sleep over this matter because these people are not worth it.

My dad got a call from this number with a case number and everything. My Dad is 14 hours away from me?!

I haven't been able to find out to much on these people...but the weird thing... they are calling my husband's cell phone... and asking for my ex-husband.  Now that is weird!  I know we have nothing in collections... but I am sure my ex does...but I don't know how they would get my husband's cell phone for my ex.... puzzling

I received a call from a Deputy Director Charles Movado from this number. He left a detailed message about a civil law suit against me with an affidavit number on MY FRIEND'S ANSWERING MACHINE! This scared the %$#@ out of me. I left a message on the number he left, but found it kind of odd that it went to a voice mail box in the middle of the morning. I tried to find out who he was and, surprisingly enough, couldn't find anything on him, but his number brought back a lot of information, most of which was negative. He called me back and informed me about an outstanding credit card debt and started rattling off my social security number, which really freaked me out. Then I asked him to send me the information in writing because I was not comfortable speaking about this information over the phone, especially since I could not verify who he actually was and that he left personal information on an answering machine. Once I said that he immediately started talking over me and rushed me off of the phone and said I would be issued a subpoena to appear in court for a suit. I then contacted the FTC to file a complaint against him and checked my credit reports for this debt, which is not there. Scary stuff! Has anyone gotten a legitimate call from these people?

I received a call from this number today around 6pm.  They said a civil case has been filed again me and said for me or my lawyer to contact them.  They also said I'm required to appear and said if I didn't, further actions would be filed against me.  The lady said her name was Patricia Hill, a special investigator.  Who the hell is this?

Well, these people called my parents home, where i haven't lived in almost 18 years. They scared the sH&^ out my mother as they told her someone has filed a criminal complaint against me. They made it seem even more real by giving her a case #. After receiving the number from my parents, I called. After they identified the nature of their call. I informed them of the FDCPA-Fair Debt Collections Practices Act and how they are not supposed to disclose information of such to a third party. I also told them the debt they are talking about in not mine and does not appear on my credit report. I told them to Cease and Decist all calls since they have the wrong person. For those of you that don't know, under the FDCPA, they have to honor your request of not calling or contacting you in any manner. If they do, they are in violation and can be sued.

Legal Jurisdiction are nothing but scum.  I have reported these people to the DA in Georgia and local Police in Georgia.  Both the DA and the police were very interested in these people.

I would never post my number's anywhere, that's just dumb.  Well they tried calling again for my dad, I just deleted the message.

No joke, but I hear about this all the time where I work so I wasn't about to fall for it.

I got a call from this number and they asked for my wife and left a case number concerning a civil action lawsuit that she seemed to be a part of in Georgia and she has never left the state she lives in now which is on the west coast.  The individual calling claimed she needed to pay 511 dollars as part of a settlement and if she didn't the price would go up to over 2000.  This right a way told me it was a scam  because we have no debt and are pretty well off.  All of our bills have been paid promptly and on time.  Look out, these people are trying to scam you and take your information for theft purposes.  Any notification concerning any court documents would not be left on phone recorded messages do to privacy laws which apply to every state, but delivered in person or by certified mail. Be careful during the holidays especially, some people will do anything to get what is not theirs at the expense of inocent people.

Anyways, I'm on here because I received a call for my father at my residence, and my father has never once lived here.  My boyfriend and I bought this house from his parents. well they were asking for my dad and I was talking to them telling them that I don't know anyone by that name(they had left a threatening message and left that reference number so I called them)and then the girl(obviously caught up in her own scam) says "do you know Diane -----?"(wont disclose last name for privacy)which is my boyfriend's mom's name. funny how my boyfriend's mom and my dad have never met because my dad lived 100 miles away!  They're just trying to get people's bank account info and SS#'s.  Don't fall for it.  I sure feel bad for the people who do!

Also, when I googled this phone number, a craigs lists posting came up for 2 sofas and a coffee table, so I decided to call and play along with it.  the guy answered "legal jurisdiction" and I said "oh, i must have the wrong number, I was calling about a craigslist ad..." etc etc and he said "no baby, that was sold a loooong time ago" and when I was about to get off the phone he's like "what do you look like?" so I played along for a second to see how far he'd go and he was going waaay too far, especially for it to be a "legal" place of business. SCAM !

DO YOU PAY YOUR BILLS?

I got a call from  Ms Clark at this number yesterday.  She told me that a complaint was going out against me in my county(funny that she did not seem to know what county that is) and that I needed to have my lawyer contact her at this number.  She left the affidavit number.  I guess that they must think that I am stupid.  First of all I work for a company that does inbound collections and have had training on the laws. I know that when a collector calls that they are only suppose to leave their name, the company they are calling for, and a contact number.  Leaving this type of message is a violation.  Every time I receive a message like this I record it for proof before i delete it.  Second my debts are past the statute of limitations. They probably hope that I do not know this.  They would be wrong because I do know.  They did not even identify who they were.  If anyone knows what company this is please let know.  My most recent calls have been from Ruben & Yates but I do not know if this is them and if they are trying a different approach since I never responded to them.

I got a call today with the same thing.  He said that if my father got off the phone, that he would slap him.  I then called, because I thought hmm a detective wants to slap my dad.  So I called and I identified myself, he said you and your father are both qu***s. I AM GOING TO GET TOT HE BOTTOM OF THIS.

I got a call from them too...I wrote some bad checks awhile ago and thought nothing would happen. They helped me to avoid legal ramifications.
