they are harrassing and try to creap people out well it worked on me until I found this website. the message I got was also from a "Ms. Grayson" who stated if I don't call her by X date she will file this debt with the civil division of my state. I have paid off all of my old debt and was alarmed I missed something from years ago until again I found this website. I will not be returning her call and fortunately I have a good security company at work so if the harrassing phone calls don't stop I will be puttring corporate security on notice. Thank God I don't have a home phone and my cell is unpublished, currently all calls are only going to work. I called back before reading this website and it rang endlessly with no answer. I appreciate the info on this website and appreciate you all taking the time to put this info out there.

Wow I was reading some of the complaints... I have been contacted by Mrs. Grayson as well on numerous occasions. I to have asked for a copy of my original bill from the payday loan I supposely owe as well as a phone number and the original amount of the bill. I have been threaten if I don't pay this bill I will be arrested for fraud, or they will garnish my wages. I have paid on it for several of months and still leary of this bill. After taking a month of a letter Ms. Grayson provided to me it was not what I was looking for. She stated to me she can not provide that information. I have friends in the Atlanta area so I will be looking more into this company and get some answers.

This company has contacted my old home number where my mom lives. They keep leaving messages on her answering machine saying that it's a "Mrs. Grayson" and that I am being investigated for fraud and something about a contract. They also threaten to take this "matter" to the Magistrate Court. So glad I found this website because I know they are scam artists. They don't even identify the company they are calling from or validate the alleged "debt" in any way. Nothing was EVER sent to me in writing. Perhaps they are some shady characters from the payday loan predators. I do not owe any money. I will follow up and file a complaint with the FTC. Spread the word about these scammers!!!

5) Refusing to stop calling.

6) Making illegal threats of prosecution and arrest.

My aunt and uncle received a call from these people yesterday on their answering machine. Why they called my family members I do not know. Just a pressure tactic. They also said that I have a bank fraud case and that the magistrates were coming to pick me up. I don't owe anybody anything. I asked the Scott person to mail me a letter stating what I owe and to whom I owe the money to and he said that he doubted that he could do this. I then told him not to call my aunt and uncle anymore because my uncle happens to be on his death bed.He then told me not to tell him what he can and can't do and slammed the phone down. I have also received phone calls from another collector under the same name who had a very heavy Indian or Arabic accent who repeatedly called me at my job and when we would hang up the phone because he would call back to back nonstop, he would then call my supervisor and even the president of our college and curse them out. We even had the police involved and he called the officer a derogatory name. I have contacted the Attorney General's office in NC and filed a complaint against them. The Attorney General's office has stated that they are loansharks who prey on people and people fall prey to the scare tactics. I was told that there really much of anything they can do but harass you. Everyone needs to beware.

These people have been calling me for some time now.  Several months or so ago I spoke to a woman about a debt from cash advance networks.  I asked her to prove I owed the money by sending me all the information and legal documentation to prove I owed it.  I still have not received any information.  They have called me at least once or twice a month for a while now.  Most of the time I get a recording.  Then earlier this week the same company called a friend of mine with whom I have not lived with in over 10 years.  How the heck did they get her number?  

I always make it a habit to check on these companies before admitting to a debt or making any kind of payment arrangements. I'm glad I found this website to check on potential fraudulent companies. And sure enough, this company seems to be another one.  With the economy the way it is these days, these scammers come out in droves and prey on those who are having a tough time of it as is.  Thanks to websites like this, we have a way to weed these scum bags out.

I to got a call last month that I owed money and that I would be served if I didn't call back. I called back and spoke to Angelina Mann I made arrangements to pay off the debt, so I gave her my card number, they took $280.00 out of my account, however in the mean time I had some fraud happen to my card and I had it replaced, they just called me to let me know that the card was rejected. When I said I wanted to speak to Angelina they wouldn't let me. I tried calling the number she orginially gave me... it's not in service.  I thought I would look up the number for this agency and found this website.  Thank God...I didn't give my new card number to them.

I just received a call at my mother's house from a Tiffany Grayson. (770) 788-8393 was the number she left. She had said it was involving a friend of mine, whom I haven't spoken to in over a year! I called the number back to see what it was about and just got Tiffany's voicemail. ???

I got a call about debt. I did own them. So I set up a payment plan. I paid in full and on time. Then they took out almost $400 out of my account. I contacted them. They said that they where at fault. I have yet to see my refund. So, I contacted a lawyer. They said to contact the Consumer Credit Commissioner if I didn't get my refund with in 30. Then I could take them to small claims court.

Did you ever get it sorted out?? Or your money back?

I received a call from these people stating the same exact thing about check fraud. Asking have I been served papers to appear in court. Then they stated that there was going to be a warrant put out for my arrest...I knew that I had borrowed money back in 2006 from a cashadvancenetwork.com...So I was like let me go ahead and pay them what I owe them. I had KNOW IDEA that they were scammers. So I did give them my credit card information thinking that I was doing the right thing trying to pay off my debt. Well they took the 400.00. Then 2 weeks later they came back and charged my account 1040.00 fraudently. So that's a total of 1440.00 that they have taken out of my account...I spoke with a chelsea initially and then a scott...Well we have been calling and calling there number and they won't answer...then there is a machine that comes on for a Tiffany and she has Scott call you back and tell you that she's going to call you back in 2 hours and she never does. I put this message out here because I don't want anyone else to get scammed like I have by these people...I'm having to file police reports, send info to a DA in GA and I'm having to get a lawyer on these people. So this is just a FYI that they are scammers. and I hope know one else has been Robbed like I have!!!

The guy Scott offered me a deal to pay off a bill from 2005 that I didn't know existed but it had to be paid by the end of the month. I told him I needed to receive something in writing on company letterhead before we discussed paying off anything. Not sure what this is all about but I will have my lawyer call the tomorrow.

got a call from this number identifying themselves as: Thorstenberg, Shapiro & Associates. stated that they were calling in regard to an alleged "check fraud" issue threatening legal action. caller left the name, Chelsea with the above phone #; but a return call to that # was redirected to a recorded message. my opinion: just another collection agency!
