Haved received several calls from this telephpone number. Messages left are so garbled I could not understand. Makes no sense to call and ask if I got a telephpone book. They are left on the front steps. Modern white and yellow page directors are a terrible waste of papaer, ink, delivery, and disposal. I have not used mine since 1988 when I got access to directories online. They are a nuisance. Telemaketers want something or they would be not calling you. The telemarketing firm makes $0.60 off every $1.00 collected. Remember that when you think you helping kids in Africa or Newark with your $10 donation. Only $4 will actually get to the kids, if that. Telemarketting is a moral obscenity in this country, like title max and pay day loans. They screw the poor and enrichen themselves. Pay cash only. No credit cards whatsoever. Go back to cash. It will push financial institutions to rethink their models significantly.

We received a new phone book last week. I didn't answer this call, no message was left, but I would answer if they called again. They need some way to verify that delivery personnel performed as contracted.

They called today.  I didn't answer.  They left no message.  Also, on do not call list which, I agree, is useless.

Looked at my caller  I D   and didn't even bother to pick.  Just wish some one could tell me what good the no call list is   It sure doesn't work from what I can see.

Robot called and asked if I received my DEX directory.  This company is called Specialty Directory Distribution Services Inc.  I believe this is a real company.  Lots of information about company if you do a search.

this number called me an the recorded message came on an said did you receive your Dex communication push one or two something I listen did not do anything an then it said we did not get your recording so I hung up an looked on here is this another scam,this is a land line home phone an I have been getting calls some no answer I think some how they tap in your phone because I have had problems with my phone every since that little India man called an he has so many number's that I can not block any more I think I am going to drop my home line the only reason I keep it is due to my husband being disabled an need to call 911 this hacking !@#% is getting on my nerves just have to love America man this piss me off this morning,had not even had my coffee yet uhhhh!!

Received a Couple of calls from this number- DIDN'T RECOGNIZE NAME OR NUMBER ON CALLER- DIDN'T ANSWER AS I KNOW IT'S ANNOYING/HARASSING CALL.

I've gotten 2 of these calls. One with the above number and the other number is 678-730-2680.
I understand their reason to verify if you got it - they contract out a bunch of local yokals to see if they actually drove around and pitched them out the window of their car - or just threw them into a big dumpster behind walmart. I just wish they would leave a message so you can call back and say yes or no. Now I just might answer it.

Ok got new phone book the other day.   That makes sense.    I don't usually answer my home phone as no one really has that number, I got it through a cable bundle deal, so if it is a long distance number I never answer.  

As for why they call, it is to make sure the person they paid to deliver it has done their job.

Not home at time of call, no message....need these calls to stop.  On do not call list, still getting these.

It just so happens that we did receive our phone book last week. Why in the world would they be calling to verify?  By the  way, who uses phone books anymore???

Tom...a phonebook is a big book of paper they deliver that you pull sheets out of and crumple up and put in your fireplace to light the kindling....

Caller left recorded message asking me to press a key to indicate if I had received a "yellow book telephone directory".  The message did not use the phrase "Yellow Pages".  Around here, we get two or three "Yellow Pages" / "Yellow Book" type things each year, so I'm not sure which publisher this was.

They are pretty good in their phone business from Georgia. They have called here and not left a message. Are they doing a survey?
