I called them and it seems real but the company name they gave me is not offering Bahamas and the number is not on the website. They were nice and I almost got tricked a little. don't trust the number. the y said its only $58 for the taxes and the rest is free. I don't believe it though

Received a text today from ofgxyxsipiat@bahamaspromotion.net with the message as follows: Enjoy your complimentary trip to the Bahamas! Call us for details 772-228-4163. DNSToolkit.net could not find bahamaspromotions.net however, a bahamaspromotion.com does come up and the web page is literally blank. The only info Spokeo could find on the phone number was a location of Sebastian, FL 32958, Bell South Telecomm Inc.
Judging from the e-mail addy above, it is sort of obvious that this is a scam. A legitimate Company would not have an address that starts out that way (jumbled letters). If I get any more text I can block the number from calling my cell phone by putting it on a block list located in my Verizon Wireless account settings at no charge.

Received the text message a few minutes ago. I ignore the message but it angers me that it costs me to receive spam text messages! Too bad charges can't be reversed. Let the spammers pay for their own crap.

I got a text a few minutes ago from noihwdfpuzlsi@bahamaspromo.net and it said: "You have two tickets to the Bahamas waiting to be claimed. Call for details (772)228.4163" I figured I'd google it and now I see how many other people got it to. huh they must think we're pretty dumb to believe we'd fall for that.

scam msg about winning a trip to bahamas
Bad mofo 2014-05-01 15:08:11 Unknown
Did anybody actually call and talk to anybody ? I got a trip to Vegas once from the same type thing... The catch was I had to go to a seminar that took about 2 hours and consider buying time shares. no timeshares but free airfare and lodging for a few days. I would do it again, especially to go to the Bahamas lol
Shark 2014-05-01 14:32:29 Unknown
I got a message also from 772 228 4163 saying the same thing. It didn't say how many tickets. It just said: "You have tickets to the Bahamas waiting to be claimed. Call for info at (772) 228 4163"
Maybe it's not even a scam....Maybe it's just sneaky advertising. Nowhere did it say the tickets were free!
caroline 2014-04-30 17:22:33 Unknown
xfbom@bahamasvava.com texted me. total scam!

Those fooled by the "free cruise" scammers, will be left, waiting at the dock, for a ship that never comes, while the scammers sail away with their credit card information!

Early today I received a text saying: Claim your two tickets to the Bahamas by calling 772 228 4163
I'm pretty sure it's a scam or at least I think it is so I decided to search the number on the Internet.
