It started to happen to me few days ago. I have blocked it from my Verizon account and so far no calls.If u have Verizon cell phone you can block up too 5 calls for free.

Recently I have started receiving such calls where there is no one at the other end. This number is one of those. I have my number registered in "Do Not Call" list and yet I am receiving these unwanted calls.
