This man called me today. When I don't know the number someone's calling from I pretend to take a message for myself. This guy told me his name and when I asked again, who he was, he told me his name again. Refused to tell me what company he was from even when asked directly, only mentioned two "letters" that had been sent to me. Not answering his calls again.

I've been getting regular calls from this number. A man leaves a message saying, 'This is Steve Edwards, please return my call. Then he proceeds to leave a 1-888-???-???? number. Sorry I deleted it without writing that number down. I will not return or answer his calls. I do not respond to anyone that I don't know who doesn't leave me any information in a message.
I suggest that you ignore this man. Do not share any information with him or verify that he has your phone number. From the sound of prior posts on this website, he is obviously a dirty debt collector.

This fool called me and stated that I owed the University of Iowa $900. When I asked him what year it was from (I have not lived in Iowa City for over 10 years now), he did not know. He then asked me to verify my home address. I basically told him to drop dead and never call me again. Obviously he is some scumbag who thinks he can collect on old debts, if they are even valid. I would not worry about him. I have talked to 3rd graders who are more intimidating.

This guy Steve Edwards recently has started to call me. It is frequent and annoying. I supposedly owe money that he is trying to collect but he can give me any detailed information?! I asked him to send me something any writting it had zero information, just his name and these thousands of dollars I supposedly owe....STOP CALLING ME!!!!!
