Chicago area code; no message; called my business.

Every day like clockwork--never a message

Called my business everyday for 4 days so far.      I answer, and they hang up

It's AT&T (supposedly).  First the caller asks for the primary decision maker, then for the second one.  I told him that they weren't availble and I'd take a message.  He didn't want to leave his name or call back number.

This number just called our office and the moment we answered they hung up...even before we gave our greeting and business name...hung up.   What is the meaning of ringing the number IF there are no words.

Are they tapping into our phone line trying to record messages or get information???

Has called three time.  Says they are AT&T wants to talk to decision maker to see if we are getting the best rates.  Says she is pulling up my account and says that we are getting the best rates.  Then says thank for using AT&T and hangs up.  SO STRANGE

I've got these weird calls as well. Does someone know how to get rid of them?

Claimed he was from AT&T. He could lower our rate, he said he had our
phone record in front of him.

THIS NUMBER CALLS MY BUSINESS BUT I DID NOT ANSWER BECAUSE IT IS A STRANGE NUMBER. THEY DID NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE OR THEY HUNG UP BEFORE THE ANSWERING MACHINE COULD ANSWER.

Received call from Becky Kramer wanting to find me a better AT&T deal.  Claims to be my Personal Small Business Advisor.  Tried to upsell me to a T1 line.

Just got a call from this number... NO ONE ON THE OTHER END>>
Is is a SCAM.

Calls and hangs up. 3-5 times a week

Caution is advised if they are really TMG marketing.  TMG Marketing calls for a telecommunications company called Peak.  They have used abusive tactics & lies to get info. They DO NOT represent A T & T at all, in any way! The info they have gotten from others they use to slam your long distance service over to theirs without your knowledge or permission. Slamming is illegal.

Authorized AT&T dealer - used to call in on a different number but started with this number recentley. A little trick I use - when you see the number come up on caller i.d. - don't say anything when you answer. Remain quiet and after about 20 to 30 seconds - the call ends itself. This only works of course, if you have the time to wait. Otherwise I just say "not interested" and hang up on them.

This number called my retail store.  I answered but no one responded.  After I said hello a couple times then they disconnected from me.  Annoying.

Ted Figgins Said they Call and hangup quickly.  Probably 10 times per week.The next time they call I have a surprize for them. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get continuous calls every week..  Very annoying for my staff.

773-121-2000, got a call on 6/27/08.  Out of area on Caller ID.  Claimed to be AT&T authorized dealer.  (Really means 3rd party).  Said my bill was a certain amount, was incorrect on that amount.  So I hung up.  Dude called back this time from 303-952-6624 and ID was TMG Marketing.

Seem like trick tactic used, claims to know my bill but had wrong plan amount.

Verry anoying and a big time waster.

No one on the other end but they're calling my place of business!
SO annoying. There's got to be a way of stopping them.
