Honest people will not call and hang up. These scammers do
Don't do business with them! 2013-07-29 21:01:40 Unknown
You should respect the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. No one should trust you since you ignore this basic rule.
not anwsering 2012-05-21 15:49:17 Unknown
You must be one of those clowns who asks to talk to the "owner". If what you were selling had any value, you wouldn't be doing that. Love how you lash out at your victims too. I think we all know who the IDIOT is LOL!
Lots of us are on to your silly game, my guess is that it's your so-called job that will be ending soon ... not soon enough, though!

You nasty secretary. 70,000 businesses are failing every year in a good one. WE ARE IN A RECESSION. I would laugh if YOU LOST YOUR JOB because you thought it was so cute to push away a company who could have saved it. YOU ARE AN IDIOT.
NewHorizon 2012-02-28 18:49:28 Unknown
True, there's no law.
People put their business numbers on that list anyway.
Seems to me cold-callers would want to filter those out to improve the success rate of their calls - law or no law.
hhmm 2011-11-17 19:23:11 Unknown
FYI there is no law in Illinois for a business do not call list, only residential.

Got a call from K-K. Are we really expected to drop what we're doing every time - multiple times a day - somebody either calls or drops in to suggest that they can help make money or save money? These are people who might offer to grow the business, add our company name to directories, offer stock brokerage services, offer to save money on group health insurance, or long-term disability insurance, or janitorial services, or phone/internet services, or printer supplies, or credit card servicing, etc, etc.
To the caller, doesn't it stand to reason that your calls would have a higher rate of success if you filtered your call lists against the National do-not-call registry?
HAHA 2011-11-01 17:46:39 Unknown
Actually you don't. I am the one who took the call and the person calling wouldn't tell me his business. No name. Just a heavy sigh when I said the person you were asking for wasn't here. Caller wouldn't leave a message after I offered to take one. I didn't say what you were doing was illegal, but it is annoying. Sounds like you are just some shmuck hired to make cold calls. Must be lonely for you.
Actually you are more of a secretary than the rest of us. You just spend the day making calls from a printed list of businesses and reporting back your lack of success to your boss. I checked out your website. It is a fluff website. No real information is provide at all. Looks pretty but totally vacant when you take a look.
BTW - calling people names in your response IS disrepectful, Weather is the wrong word to use in your context unless it is raining up in here, and none of us are going to be grateful to telemarketers calling us.
Like I pointed out earlier, if you are really legit, you would be either emailing or mailing your propectus (asking us for that info might get you somewhere), not cold calling and getting your panties in a twist because you can't get anyone you want on the phone. I am not the owner here but I can guarantee you that I make every business decision regarding how the money is spent at this company. That's MY job and you aren't asking for me.
As for the secretary nonsense - as with all small companies, there is generally one person who is chanied to the desk and therefore, answers the phone. Here, that person is me but believe me I am not a secretary or personal assistant of any kind. Maybe you should change your approach. Hope you aren't on a commission of some kind. But I guess in this economy any job you have is a good one but what a waste of time and probably education. You must be very frustrated.
wow 2011-11-01 14:20:47 Unknown
I always identify myself, my company, and details on why I am calling. Nothing I am doing is illegal, same goes for the company I work for. That is why I am the only employee on this website redeeming the company from ignorant people like you all! I am always respectful to anyone I reach on the phone, weather it be a secretary, administrative assistant, owner, janitor, shop guy, wife, etc. So this is nonsense! If any of you actually met partners or reps here- you would be grateful for what we have to share with you, and you would regret letting the SECRETARY send us away.
HAHA 2011-10-31 19:37:17 Unknown
Then get another job. We ALL hate cold calling telemarketers. If you were legit, you would provide the person answering the phone with all of your info and offer to email or mail a package from your company. Not get all panty twisted and passive aggressive. At least your replies are providing some humor on an otherwise hohum cloudy day...
Not a secretary 2011-10-31 19:34:19 Unknown
Actually it IS totally up to the 'secretary' to determine which calls get through. Callers that refuse to identify themselves by name, company and business won't get through. Period. As a 'non' secretary but someone who answers most of the calls at my company, I know who my bosses want to talk to. Telemarketing people looking to sell something isn't one of them. If you don't have direct business with our company, we simply aren't interested. You should also brush up on your terminology...Secretaries aren't referred to as Secretaries any longer. Front end people also find it insulting to be disparaged by callers such as yourself. You won't find business doing it this way. Remember that next time you call my company. You won't get through and if you get abusive or refuse to stop calling, you will find your company with a BBB complaint and a written complaint directly to your company (Networking does not = cold calling btw). Cheers

Aren't you allowed to carry guns in your state to defend yourself?
uhhh what? 2011-10-27 13:34:57 Unknown
former worker? worker of what? Identify yourself and tell the REAL reason your posting on LIES this site.
Yes 2011-10-26 21:33:57 Unknown
You are an illegal solicitor. Get another business name and try the scam again; learn from your mistakes. If you want to do business, begin by not lying and not harassing people who don't want what you are offering. Pay for your own advertising; don't post bogus responses repeatedly trying to justify your illegal and dishonest activity. If you're gonna be dishonest, at least try to disguise it.
Rob 2011-10-26 21:30:34 Unknown
SHILL ALERT.
Of course this is a telemarketing call. And, you would probably be the one making them. As you are obviously making solicitations (look the word up moron) even in this post, you have now made your company look even worse. Mental sticky...if anyone were interested in what you are soliciting, they probably wouldn't be waiting until some loser called them offering services. Me personally, if I want something I don't sit by the phone hoping some solicitor will call and offer it to me.
dont worry about it 2011-10-26 21:26:20 Unknown
This is their game, they act like they are going to help, when all the do is use your expense account to pay out their expense. It is a scam.Dont listen to them. I am a former worker telling everyone is it BS !!!

We received a few calls from a Mark Hostage at Kendall-Kline & Associates recently. Then out of the blue this Mark Hostage guy shows up at my Business with a pushy attitude and tries to play my brother and I against each other. I told him 3 times were not interested. He wouldn't leave. I told look we aren't interested pointed to the door and told him to leave. I told me I had a rotten attitude and that he wanted to talk to my brother and that my brother has a problem with me! This guy has some nerve. I told him to get out and he final left. What the heck is wrong with these consulting companies they have gotten more and more pushy, aggressive and rude. I haven't had anyone talk to me like in a long time. I've been at the same company for 22 years and now I own it. I think I've been doing fine without these scam artists. Is it just me, but these shady people twist my gut. Oh, I hate that felling its like standing 2 feet from a child molester, you can just feel that something about them is wrong.

In tacoma-I called the owner Alan to get a quote on a large order of packs we will be needing once we have established residency in Tacoma. Alan rudely hung up in my face!!!! Time had nothing to do with it. So why don't you be honest? I was being honest. You began insisting my address, (which we don't have one yet in Tacoma hence the words trying to establish) after I made clear we wont being doing business with your company. You still insisted it was a misunderstanding and told me to give you my address! No Thank you!!! Apparently no one there can hear correctly. I wont name the business. I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate that.

This is absolutely crazy! All this time in a day to make false reports on an up an coming business! We are not telemarketers. We are not treated or paid like slaves. So that is false information. Everyone has a job and has to do it in order to get paid. Consulting is not a crime and is not a scam. We are not a typical consulting firm and we are not scamming anyone. We help numerous business owners everyday to save thousands of dollars. We do not charge thousands of dollars (by the way) to stop in, introduce our firm and leave the owner with actual quality proven strategies at no cost. There are many changes coming for small business owners. We can show you how to embrace and take advantage of those changes, or get lost in the shuffle with the rest of businesses that have closed down!!! There is no reason to be so rude and hang up on someone offering you free information. Just as explained, you will see benefit in the information we give you at no cost, you will then pass that information on to someone who may need it more than you. That person may call us and want to no more about our services. This my friends, is called networking! Not scamming! If you could get a new business idea to better the company while just spending ten minutes in your day to get the info....wouldn't it be worth it!? Successful business owners didn't get to where they are today by being CLOSE MINDED!!!! This person on the other end on the phone is a HUMAN BEING trying to make a living!!!
I Know Better!!!! 2011-10-14 01:07:11 Unknown
I understand the spill, however you are selling consulting services? Please. Give us a break. If I needed your services, I would call you. So BS. you are selling a scam game at my expense. Consulting fees in the range of 40K to 50K, without any real results. O.K. great game. buyers Beware. This is a total gamble and a screw in the AS@@#$!!!!!!! The telemarketers are treated and paid like slaves.

Got a call from Kendall-Kline secretary inferring that they are new to the area and were just setting up. She said they'd hope to do business and said her boss wanted a decent price of 45 to 60 products.
But NOW they had decided NOT to do business because one of our sales guys didn't have time to talk to them. When asked for their address and phone number she hung up.
Oh no, another potential fake customer lost!
Why do they think this type of crap establishes a trustworthy relationship?

Stop calling 2011-10-11 18:54:53 Unknown
Most of the businesses you are calling are probably already running successfully and don't need or want your help.
AND YOU SHOULD KNOW . . . many of the "OWNERS" of these companies you are cold calling have "TOLD" their secretaries to not allow cold calls from people like you to get through.
STOP CALLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and have a nice day :)
the caller 2011-08-25 19:00:27 Unknown
Again, we are not calling to bother anyone. We are a new business development firm made up of business consultants, industry specialists, business coaches, IT specialists, etc-with experience ranging from 5 years to 29 years in the field of assisting business owners TO MAKE MORE MONEY. If a business owner is not open minded about making more money and running his business more efficiently, that is his choice to decline our information. That is not up to the secretary. We are not obligating anyone into anything, nor are we trying to sell anything. We are offering information and proven business strategies that people pay money for at seminars-at no cost, just for letting us introduce the company to you. So that secretary that makes a decision for the owner not to take our call-could be potentially costing him anywhere from $5,000-$50,000 in money he could be saving and profiting in his business. We are NETWORKING

This is not telemarketing calls. This is a business development company by the name on Kendall Kline based in Chicago, Il. Our website is www.kendall-kline.com. We network with small business owners all over the United States. We are not calling to sell anything. We would like the opportunity to introduce our business to you, and you introduce your business to us. Very simple. We are not soliciting anything.

Spamming scammer claiming he has people in my area and wanting to drop by. Funny that he could not correctly reply when I then inquired, OK, where am I?
