a Robocall stating I had won a Carnival cruise.  Press 1 to continue, 2 to be removed from their list.  I read somewhere on one of these forums that if you hit the # sign a bunch of times, the computer gets "confused" and doesn't call back because it thinks it dialed a bogus number.  Yeah, no...  I was smacking that key a hundred times, it kept on talking....  So I opted for hitting 2.  We'll see if they actually do stop calling.

Hey, you know what?  We all have to enter in a validation code to post a message here to prove we're real people, and not spam.  Why can't there be something like that for phones?

Please make them stop!

Another call on cell  5:47 PM. Did not answer. Tired of jerks using up my cell phone minutes.  Call on your own dime!!!    Doesn't seem to matter that all my numbers are listed on DNC list!

Beware.  SCAMMERS, SCAMMERS, SCAMMERS.  Rec'd a call from these morons who didn't have the gonads, much less common courtesy, to leave a message.  Do NOT pickup or return calls to such as*holes like this that you do not know or did not originally call as you will just be confirming they called a valid phone number and providing them with a likely time to get a response; which can undoubtedly be passed on or sold to other similar SCAMMERS out there.  Protect your info.

Robot call, saying I filled out an entry form and that I had been selected to win a cruise, press 1 to continue, and press 2 to be added to the do not call list. If they didn't suspect that they might be doing something fishy, spammy, or otherwise untoward, why on earth would they need the press 2 option? I suspect that I have not filled out an entry form - but it's not even like the robot call could possibly know who it was that picked up the phone regardless of whether or not anyone filled out an entry form.

I completely agree with you, Bugga, that being registered on the DNC Registry doesn't mean a thing.  I've reported unwanted calls -  even to the FCC and nothing  was done.   I was receiving calls every two hours, even on Sunday from a spammer and still, nothing was done.  It's very irritating, to say the least!  My phone server offers a service to block numbers you don't want calling you.  Only thing - I've  been unable to block toll free numbers  and I think that's strange!

Incoming call on cel from unknown # at 8:00 pm. Did not answer no message only rang twice.

I believe it may be best not to answer calls from unknown #'s. If the call is legamite a message will be left. Any answer from you indicates a live body at your number to spam.

Got a call from this number.  I didn't picked up and they didn't leave a message.  Probably spammer or other telemarketer.

This number just called me. I hung up right away. Just another one of many spam calls I receive from various numbers. Annoying. And apparently being on the DNC list doesn't even matter!

called at 3:47pm with a recored message about registering something.

called at 845pm with a recored message about winning a carnival  something and to push 1. Reported them to the DNC list registry.

Called at 5:20 p.m.  Previously reported to DNC  in February.  No message.

Calls around 6PM, leaves no message.  An irritating robo call.
