They're calling me too....

Caller hangs up when phone is answered.
I would like to know who this is so I could return the favor and call their families at home repeatedly.

calls ALL the time and always hangs up

same thing; when picked up, silence and then hangs up

WHEN I LOOKED THE NUMBER UP, IT IS A LANDLINE FROM CHICAGO

This number keep calling my house and hanging up, all times of day.  When I called number back, (The number you have reached is disconnected).

called me at 11:55 rang three times and hung up.

They keep calling me too and asking for Don.  When I tell them they have the wrong phone number and to stop calling me, they don't say anything, but they don't hang up either.

They claim they are collecting for Veterans. Tell them to remove your number from their list.

Total creeps even call after getting my automated blocked call message that their call number is not being accepted!

Sometimes the caller will use a familiar version of your name ("Hey! Mike!) to get you to pick up the phone after your answering machine has picked it up.  Makes it sound like someone you, or your spouse, should know.

I decided today to try and talk to the people who keep calling.  They identified themselves as a professional fundraising group working for the Vetenam Veteranes of America.  I told them we give locally and to take our names off the list...they hung up on me.  I tryed to call them back and the phone number didn't work.  It wouldn't connect to anything.  Hopefully they will take our names off the list.  I'll reply back if they keep calling.

calls 3 times a day,

They've been calling once a day evey day this week.  I don't mind charity calls if they ID themselves on the caller ID, otherwise welcome to my voicemail.

This is a number that is used for fundraising in IL.  The last 5 dozen times they called it was the IL Veterans. I get called about 3 times and day, up to 9 PM. I have asked not to call, yet still they do.

As I was typing they called again.. Ironic!

got a call from them 10 minutes ago they said hello (my name) then said "i am a professional fund raiser" I hung up immediatly!!!

called 5 times in last 3 days, will not answer if you pick up phone, will not leave message on answer machine. what good is "do not call list"?

I got a call from them today.

It was a fundraising call from the Illinois Veterans.

Same as everyone else here........Caller ID comes up as 'Illinois Call'....

Calls once or twice a day. Answering machine gets it, they hang up. If I personally pick it up and say "Hello" they still hang up.

I would love to use a baseball bat to fix this problem.

Call comes in as 'Unknown'.  When I try to return the call from caller ID it says the line is being checked for trouble.  I get a call from this number almost daily!

Have had multiple calls from this number.  No voicemail is left and when I have picked up, it immediately hangs up as though the person or automated system knows to hang up when someone picks up.
