Received a text message last night from 260.226.7203.  emailed at: elizabethquiz@aol.com and received the exact response.

Attention: Beneficiary,

We have picked up your parcel containing your debit card (ATM CARD) for delivery.

As part of our security measures, FedEx took a decision on how to deliver classified shipments and track them to avoid wrong delivery.


Reconfirm your address details if different from what we have in our system, wrong information given will be invalid and shipment either delayed or delivered wrongly.

Received a text and emails - sounded to good to be true wanted to buy my car sight unseen not sure if they were real but she wanted too much information and was not willing to pay cash or cashiers check

Got a txt from this number. They want to buy  my car from cars.com.

Got a text message from this number to purchase my car from cars.com. Poorly written message without any legitimate questions. Appeared to be a scam.

This is absolutely a scam in every sense of the word. The texts and emails are not only moronic, they are illegal.

Got a call from 845-202-1363 wanting to buy my car. Scam!

Yes - definitely a scam - claim to want to buy boat & use paypal but then need $1000 through western union first!

I had someone text me regarding buying my car off of cars.com.  However, when I tried to call the number back, this automated voice came on regarding how to get a number like this.  Obviously this is a scam.
