Received call from a man who called himself "Greg Dixon" at this Cell number  in response to my "Lost Ring *Reward* " listing on Craigs List dated 1 Sep 2010. He claimed he is an long-haul truck driver from St. Louis and had bought the ring for $85 at a NC mall that we had visited on the day the ring was lost. He called a second time on 7 Sep 2010 and wanted to return it to us, but would not do it unless we sent him the $85 + mailing cost. He broke off the conversation after I said I was concerned about possible scams, saying his wife was calling him, and we haven't heard from him since.

Miraculously my wife found her ring yesterday (20 Sep 2010) in the shopping receipts from day the ring went missing, so clearly "GREG" may or may have not bought a ring, but it surely wasn't my wife's ring.

Today I did a Google search on "7734268187" and found several "for sale" items on Craigs List, (deleted since Google did it's last network scans), in the Dallas AND Chicago areas and in two of the postings, the contact name was "LARRY".
