This number keep calling me

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I got multiple calls from this number this morning. The man said his name was Andy Hudson and that he worked for the state investigation dept in Chicago. He has a very obvious accent. He had my social security number and threatened to use it to take loans out in my name and withdraw money from my bank account if I didn't send him $300. He claimed to be representing "Holiday Lenders" but I've never taken a loan from them. He threatened my job, saying he would call and get me fired, I told him to go right ahead and try. He made several threats and got very loud. I asked him what the weather was like in Chicago and he said "it's summertime" which is obviously not true. He then talked in circles. I asked him how he slept at night and asked if when he was a kid he dreamt of one day harassing and scamming Americans over the phone. He hung up on me.

These guys have called me saying they gave me a $5000 loan (deposited into my bank account) and that I never made a payment.  This is obviously a fraudulent company.  I never applied for nor received a $5000 loan.  The really scary part is they have my social security number.  When I started to ask questions about when I took out the loan, what bank account they deposited the money, the Indian man couldn't answer my questions.  He talked in circles.  I'm going to report these people.

I get calls from this number all times of the day and night.  They never tell what they want except to said that if you don't return the call a warrent for my arrest will go out.  They claim to know where I work and live.  I've been getting this type of call for about 3 yrs.  They stop for a while then start back up.  Well I'm still out walking around.  No one has shown up at my job or home to arrest me.  To this day I still have no clue who they are.

Some guy with a heavy Indian accent claimed that his name was Logan Thomas and he was with a "Para legal" something or other company and that I was being sued. I told him to take me off his list and he refused to do so. He also threatened that if I hung up he would just continue to call back. Which he has done repeatedly. I would love to know how to report this to the appropriate authorities!

I got a call from this number this afternoon. I didn't answer and they left a voicemail. They asked for someone that was not me nor has access to this number (at least in the last 10 years), The guy who called claimed to be from the "Civil Dept of Chicago" which I know does not exist. He then said it was an urgent matter and that my inaction may lead to credit problems or legal complications. He made no mention of any details, just threatened legal problems. I later called this number back on Skype and it did not go through. This is clearly a scam. I may forward this to the police.

I just had the same thing happen. I am not sure what this in regards to. They would not tell me.

Why did you call my job this evening to harrass and threaten me? United States federal law prohibits this and you can be sued and or prosecuted. I  said you to contact me via letter,and told you to stop calling me at work,my family, friends and  acquaintances or neighbors,but you kept calling and harrassing me without explaining what you wanted
