Called my phone after midnight. I didn't answer but texted asking who it was. I got a response saying "This one of tunchi homies. You got a sawbuck?" I responded telling them not to call/text my phone again. I've filed a complaint on the national call registry.

Called me.  I didn't answer.

Number active again.  Called, I picked up and hung up on them.

First few words out of the robo-call were "Hello, this is Phyllis Schlafly," which was enough for me to know I wasn't missing anything by hanging up.

Two calls today, no message, so now blocked.

Again, calling about my local state rep Ed Sullivan voting "with the democrats" to support the Same Sex civil union bill in the state house.
I've added this to my personal call blocking with Ooma, so it should never ring here again. So Long sucka!

I wish I would have known that so I can tell those a$$holes I'm for marriage equality.

Political messages and certain other groups are exempt from the Do Not Call registry. I'm on the registry too, and I got 3 calls from this number today. There's no getting around this crap, I'm afraid. The only thing we can hope for is that each individual group doing the spam calls provides the option to be removed from their calling list, which this one seems to do. If you call the number back, it gives you the appearance of being able to remove your number from their list, as you noted. The group's backers include a former law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and a presidential appointee to the United States Commission on Civil Rights.

Well, if I wasn't already against same gender marriage, I sure would be after all these annoying calls!

cell phone  reported calls for past two days no message

I've been trying for a MONTH to be removed, they just stop calling from one number and start calling from another..A major pain in the Posterior!

They said it was a recording for a survey or political message.  You can delete you number and they won't call you any more

Same sex marriage something or other. Really annoying and the guy on the message has a super dorky/40 year old virgin voice.

The people using 773-554-3932 claim to be doing a survey.  

773-554-3932 called this morning and left no message on my answering machine. Therefore I called them back.  A brief recorded message says that they are doing a survey.  It was annoying to hear that this message said absolutely nothing about which type of organization was doing the survey, nor was there any indication about the nature or the topic of this survey.  

Also the option to have one's number removed withing 48 hours from their calling list was offered. That was all. No option to speak with a human was offered. Only one option.

I had my home number inserted in the "do not call" list. So I wonder whether companies doing surveys are exempted from the "do not call" list or they just choose to ignore the lisg.  Does anybody here know?

They called and hung up on my Mom three times today as well.  The Caller ID is CELLULAR CALL which tells you nothing about who they are.  Other sites have reported that this is a call about same-sex marriage in Illinois.  I do not know if this is an activist group that is for or against it.  

I'll tell you what I am against -- activist groups that call and hang up on people constantly, as evidenced by all the posts here.  Whoever they are, they should consider themselves blocked.

Four hang-up calls today alone.

I have received three phone calls from this number today. The caller. Does not leave a message. And I do not recognize this number. It is getting annoying to me.

This was an unsolicited recorded message regarding marriage between two members of the same gender. I hung up and did not listen to the entire harangue.
