This is a collection agency that buys very old receivables-stuff that's well past the seven year limit and that you don't have to pay.  They called us looking for my wife's ex about something from 1989.  Calling back on 888-249-4134 gets them to knock it off.

This number called me and when I asked for them to identify themselves, they were vague. I told them they would have to be more specific about who is calling and they hung up.  They call regularly.  I now have them identified in my address book as "annoying call, don't answer".  Somehow that makes me smile now when they call, I just ignore it.

received a call today from 773-668-1630 and did not pick up. when i tried to call them back just received one of those busy signals. I really hope they don't continue to call

I get calls at all hours of the day starting at 7:59am!  I answered once, they asked for my SSN, which I refused, and then told me that they were calling to collect a debt.  I told them to send me something in writing.  6 weeks later, still getting calls, but nothing in writing.

all you have to do is when they ask you to confirm the last 4 of your social tell them you dont confirm that anonymously over the phone. they'll say somethin like, "ok, good luck to you sir. goodbye." They might try to press it for a second, but without telling you whom they represent how the heck can they expect you to confirm your social in the age of identity theft?

Told them to leave their home address in order to alert Keyse Soze as to their location. Expect no more calls from them...ever.

Person called and was very rude when I questioned who he was calling for and what company he was calling from...It is very disturbing to receive phone calls during business hours from rude representatives that claim you are trying to buy time and stall...Really!

HERE'S A TIP: For annoying frequent calls (ie debt collectors) to your cell phone you could save the numbers that call and assign them a unique ringer ID to ring as 'Silent'. So you'll get the call but it won't ring your phone and bother you. Then instead of getting annoyed or frustrated you can just laugh. Sure it seems they call from a million numbers but after a week or two you'll have them all saved and silenced. (ps. I ran into an old Nokia phone with no Silent setting so possibly you could just create your own ringtone with just of couple "pauses".)

Anyway, these people call me every day and it even says "Press 9 to have your number removed from the list." After doing that 5 times I'm starting to think it doesn't work.  So I called the 888 number listed above and a human said she would have it removed. We'll see. Thanks for the info.

They call every couple of days and also used the phone number 773 668 1631 also. I never answer my phone because I have caller ID and have been checking and ordering my credit report for the last 10 years or longer and I know I don't owe anything. Based on white pages.com the call is from Chicago and other sites state McG is a collection agency that bought very old debts.

Calls all hours of day or evening, and weekends.  Never leaves a message.  I have learned that it is NCO Credit Services. I also received a letter from them once, making reference to an alleged "outstanding balance" I had on a credit card issued by a clothing store nearly 25 years ago... I did not have any unpaid balance on the card, and the store that it was for doesn't even exisit anymore.

They have called from very early to very late and even on the weekends. This is a collection agency and they are calling my number for people that I don't even know.  Calling them back on 888-249-4134 gets them to remove your number from their records (or I hope so...at least that is what they told me today...so we will see).

I received a call from Ken Hughes stating that this was not a solisitation call but personal and I was to call 888-249-4134 which did not match obviously the caller ID number of 773-668-1630.  Many complaints this is a collection call for propably someone other than yourself.  He only called and left a message once check out the 888 number there is some good info on how to make this stop.

I have received calls from this number every 15 to 20 minutes for the last two days...I don't answer it either. Prior to this number, there were several others that repeated the cycle. Verizon reports that they are unable to block these calls and offered that I could change my cell phone number. This is maddening!!

This is merchant credit they have called to many times,I spoke with a women who wanted me to take a message for my wife I asked what it was about and she asked for my wifes social security number, I told her no and she laughed and hung up.
This morning they called asked if they were talking to my wife she said yes they asked for her social security number she said no and the lady said"I am not playing with you I am going to keep calling and hung up."

This number shows up on my caller ID about 8 to 10 times daily.  I am tired of getting this call.

I have been getting a couple of calls a week from this number, asking for April C. Nunez.  When they leave a voice mail, they mention some unintelligible credit company name and ask me to call 888-249-4134.

Just got a call from 773-668-1630 . We do not answer calls from out of state area codes, unless we recognize it as someone we know. Answering machine picked it up and they left no message. This is a VERY suspicious call..

Received call from this number, but nobody answered. Suspect this is a fraud call trying to charge my phone if I pick up. Be aware of thid number.

calls often irregularly & leaves no message. how lonh before this can be considered harassment?

I have received several calls from this number, got the recording the first time and tried to talk to them.  Do not have any idea what they are talking about and cannot get them to stop calling.  Don't have any idea how they got my number since it is a new number and I have it on the DNC list. How can I get them to stop calling me?

Received a call and did not answer it, they left no voicemail message. Suspect it is some company trying to get something. Will not answer in the future, wish I could block numbers from cell phone and not get the call.
