I just got a text message that said "I miss you" from this number. I'm in Canada so not sure why I'd be asked my political opinions by an American survey either... So strange...

a political survey is mentioned in the voice mail, but not for whom, or a return call. why are politicians exempt from the DNC registry?

I get calls from this number too with the same FE2011AIC identifier. I turn the ringer off when I see it show up on the screen and I don't answer it. If you're a Republican, that's most likely why you're getting the calls.
No doubt the Democrats have a similar type of message/survey taking place for their members from a different number and ID.
It's election campaign season for the next 11 months people. Get ready, and get used to the calls.
Complaining will do you no good, they're going to call no matter what. And this is only the beginning...

I keep getting calls on my cell phone from this number. How can I get them to stop calling?
Andrea55 2011-12-12 16:22:51 Unknown
Just a comment about the so-called rantings and ravings of Republicans. You are obviously confused. It's the Dems and the liberals doing all the ranting. You need to do some research and take off your blinders.
Beyondthebull 2011-12-10 21:12:38 Unknown
The call was a "Push Survey" claiming to get feedback on... " the Obama Administration's policies of higher taxes, runaway deficits and more government control over our lives." I am an Independent and I am insulted by these "surveys" designed for imbeciles.

There is a chance it's CCAdvertising, because many of us bothered by them are getting this call. You can try going here ...
http://www.ccadvertising.biz/dnd.html
And filling out the form for what they call "Do Not Disturb".
But notice how there is no way to tell them not to call without giving the phone number not to call. So the risk is for the callee to take.
caritta 2011-12-09 22:26:06 Unknown
At least some of you are getting a message left.......I get nothing, just the phone # and FE2011AIC as the caller! Like I would answer a call with a weird sender name like that! I just wish that they would have to leave a message so you could decide to report them or not, instead of having to come to this website every time I get a call from an unknown number!
Ellen 2011-12-09 01:46:54 Political Call
The call was a robocall from Michael Reagan. He asked a few very leading questions about my political views. I think this is called a "push poll." I gave answers, but not necessarily truthful, and most questions I said "none of your business." I'm an active Democrat so I have no idea why these clowns called me. I tried calling the number back twice. The first call didn't go through and on the second I reached a recording that said that the person I called wasn't accepting messages. This is frustrating. The "do not call" list really doesn't mean much these days. If I get this call again I'm going to report it on the "do not call" website (not that it will do much good....}

Wrong! Political calls of any type and surveys and polls of any type are allowed by the National Do Not Call laws. Who do you think wrote the laws and passed them in the first place?

It is probably these people ...
http://www.ccadvertising.biz/
Or someone like them. They are the ones responsible for the irritating "small dog call" survey question in last year's election cycle. The big political PACS have an organization and money, but they don't have boiler rooms and auto-dialers. So they contract with people like CCAdvertising to call out for them with polls, push-polls and fundraising. Sometimes they are targeting people stupid enough to do things like give out their email address and phone number when they join Newt's Drill Baby Drill survey. But sometimes they are just cold calling as well.

I have had calls from this number on my cell at approximately the same time every evening. Where are they getting our cell phone numbers? They leave messages that they will call back later and when I tried to call the number back, it wouldn't even ring.
Get a grip 2011-12-06 06:05:34 Unknown
Received at least 4 calls. Only a partial message left stating they would call again later. Dialing number only resulted in 'all circuits are busy' recording. Solved problem by having number blocked. Don't care if it's liberal, democrat, republican or martian. The fact that so many folks are using this venue to spout venom and derision is just plain sad.

I answered the third call to my cell phone as I wanted to see what kind of survey it was. Questions included:
Are you concerned about the high cost of gas?
Are you afraid of losing your job?
Are you worse off than 4 years ago?
Do you believe marriage should be between one man and one woman?
Do you believe in a right to life?
Do you support Barack Obama?
I wish there was some way of getting these calls to stop without answering it. It interrupted my listening to am econ webcast with about the Euro crisis. I am an educated and engaged citizen. The kind of pandering the Republicans are doing has gone beyond b***s*** to dangerous. Roger Ailes, Rupert Murdoch and Rush Limbaugh better wish there is no hell.
I am proud to be an American, but fear the country we've become under the Fox propaganda machine.

Non-stop calls from this number, saying it's political. they keep leaving messages. I tried calling back to tell them to take me off their list. If you call the number back it does not go thru

They called two days in a row and I let my caller ID pick it up. All they say is "Have you registered to vote". I'm not answering.
