A david mendez...calling and harrasing me called my work and threatened to talk to my boss, said I was going to go to jail...got very nasty and rude and started screaming and yelling when I said I wasn't gonna pay cause it was a scam....these guys need to be STOPPED!!!!!

I'm getting phone calls from a chris Martin who says im part of an investigation they worked for government. When he had left already hateful messages on my phone...I kept ignoring them till he called my sister.. I called him back told him first in the USA. Its against the law to make threats over the phone and it's called illegal use of the telephone..  U  can be arrested for that.. .another if you were a lawyer u would know and if the FBI you wouldn't waste time calling you would've already been here for me plus my uncle is a retired FBI negotiator... he had me steaming mad. .tired of people like them costing people like us living day by day.  If their so smart why are they trying to get money from people who don't have it. Try to get blood out of a turnip its a whole lot easier, !

THis jerk keep calling my phone saying my social security number is being investigated. They are scammers I wish they would stop calling my phone, this the kicker please learn to speak english before you start calling people ---holes!!

Left a message on my machine telling me that my SSN was being investigated and that I should call back immediately.

Well, they keep calling.  Seems they can't find me.  They keep saying I am going to be arrested but I am still here months later.   Can you say SCAM??????????  These idiots need to be stopped!!

This Indian idiot called from the federal debt and loan investigation stating that they have a case against me and my social security number and bank account would be subject to be frozen if I don't pay this debt.  No specifics were mentioned no other reference or loan number not a date time nor location was mentioned. This guys are idiots that prey on the innocent. One guy told me he would "poop" on my face.  Now that's a business debt collector? No that's a scam artist.
Be careful of who you do business with and what online methods you use. When getting g a loan you should never have to pay upfront for a loan nor should you ever give them your bank account number. They call verifying your information and ask for your account number and social security number. Legitimate companies will have the Information needed to process your loan.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I got this same call, told him he could talk to my husband that is a lawyer, he quickly hung up and and just said alright

Got a call from Brian Sherpherd (I asked him to spell his name for me) from Chicago Law Firm, at my place of employment. 773-770-4817. Said I had a loan from cashnet usa and the funds weren't in the bank to pay for it. This is totally false.

Same thing's been happening to me, (John Smith from the attorney's office). They threatened to call my employer and tell them what I did. What did I do? - Nothing! So I just blocked the number.

Another just called, I told him I filed bankruptcy, he said that won't help you in jail.  What idiots. There is another scam saying that they are IRS, don't be fooled

They have called me several times and when I tell them they are fake, they start calling me names and tell me they r going to f me in the assets. No professional would talk like that

Got a call from someone saying they were from an attorneys office. I have never had a loan from cashnetusa and had been told they do not do business I my state. They have tried this scam before and it did not work. Told them they were scam artist mother f##### and was not getting a penny from me. Hung up on them after telling them they had been reported to FBI an law enforcement.  They always call after checking payday loan sites

Received a call from Brian Shepard saying they is a lawsuit against me for an outstanding payday loan and that the sherrifs office will be coming to my home. He wouldn't provide me with much information so I told him my lawyer will be I contact and he then became very nasty and then hung up.

I was called numerous time today and finally answered to hear a man with a thick Arabic accent say his name was John Smith. He was telling me a case was being filed against me and I would be arrested within 48 hours for committing fraud. I said I knew this was a scam and that they call every other week saying the same thing with a different name. He transferred me to his supervisor after yelling at me not in English. His supervisor's name was Mark Davidson and had the same accent. He told me I had failed to pay a payday loan from CashNetUSA. I told him I have never had a payday loan or heard of this company. He told me I was refusing to pay and I said that I never said that. He kept trying to get me to say it. He told me he was from Bordan Law Firm and I would be served within 48 hours by a sheriff with a subpoena for court. But, I could avoid court by paying them right now. I said no way and he preceded to tell me they would see me in court where I would be arrested for fraud. I hung up.

I called this # back and wanted to pay,my fine they wanted my name and I told them I wanted to pay my fine of $6000.00, and the man said that I could pay $35,000.00 to the court and would not say what court. and maybe I should send the night in Jail.
