Caller trying to sell me continuing education plan. Wanted all types of personal information that I would not give him. I am on the do not call list - what good is it? Caller had indian accent, said he was in New York. Do not have company name

Now this could be a spoof number/disguising the real number, but this is the location which has come up when I plugged in the number into Spokeo.  If someone can disguise their number and send a text to this number asking for them to stop calling, I think the more of these they get, the more likely they are to stop.  Site that you have signed up with the Govt's national do not call registry

Just called me didnt pick up. My caller ID said that the call originated in Moscow, Russia. Even said the same thing when I did an international phone number search! Confused

This number called me tonight. No message but the caller I'd said Rebecca Russom.  I'm sure it's a generic name for a telemarketer. It will be going on my ignore list.

These people need to quit calling i am only 16

This caller appears to only have become active in the past 4 weeks, since around the middle of December, 2012.  The number is in Chicago, Illinois, supposedly, but I agree with 'LB' above that this number might be 'spoofed,' and actually could be coming from anywhere in the world.

The best advice for this one is to not answer this caller.  It acts like a scam, based on all the comments on the WWWeb.

Yes, these are a***oles.  They called me on my cell and same s***.  Someone can make big $$$ if they find a way to actually stop these types of calls.  The government site does s***.

01-07-2013 at 7:53 pm received call from 773-772-7251 asking for me by my full name and if I was still looking for college information....what an old phone number list...I have been a student since April 2011!  Ah, little late buddy!  I asked to be removed from his list and hung up.  When I tried to call the number back to see which university answered it was a disconnected number.  So he will call back again tomorrow I'm sure. lol

I have received calls from this number, no message left & the number is unknown to me.

I got a call from this number and tried to call back twice and then the line got disconnected.

Received a call from them today.  I didn't recognize it so I let my voicemail pick up.  They left no message.  When I called the number back, I received a recording saying the number was disconnected.  

Someone is calling from a different number and "spoofing" this number .  The ONLY reason anyone would be doing this would be because they are perpetrating a scam.  Don't answer this number.  Don't give them any information about you - including your name.

Got a call today from this number myself.  I answered it and they asked to speak to me.  Odd - the call was ended by them after I identified myself.  Tried calling back - got the 'number not in service' message.
