Got a call from this number twice in a row with no message. Glad I googled it.

A guy named Greg Walker called from that number collecting for CompUSA.

OMG yes they are very annoying, they call me while I'm at work !!!!

It's a collection agency. They are horrible at finding people and will even call a number someone hasn't had for eight years!

Simply tell them that nobody with that name lives at that number and they will quit bugging you.

But everyone here is right: they are real obnoxious.

I got a call from 773 801 5442, and it was a woman yelling on the phone that she wants me to pay my pay bill or the cops were going to arrest me! I told her to send the cops then and hung up on her, and she called four more time after that.

This number keeps calling me but doesn't leave a message--please stop.  It is harrassing.

90% sure it's one of the many local numbers that Sallie Mae uses once your loan gets far enough into the non-payment process.

I received a call from that number and the cell phone reception was so bad, I think the lady said her name was Sophie and that she was from Dell Financial. I told her that I could hardly hear her and she said that she would call back. But she didn't and you are so right the pphone line stays busy .

This number keeps showing up, no ones there. Calling back, the lines busy all the time

Brash woman kept insisting that Mr. X lived here or I was a "Mr. X" When I said this is a harassing call or to reach "Mr X" use US Mail, she became irate.

Some totally aggressive woman asked for me by first name - she was told I wasn't here - and replied "tell him XXXX called" super-fast - no one could understand her...
