I received a call on April 15th, 2013 from this number, however there was no area code but everything else from previous posts is matching up: from Chicago, IL.  If they think they're getting shrewd by omitting the area code, how ever they can do that, they're not. It's not going to make the call less annoying! No sooner than I hooked up my home phone, I'm getting all sorts of calls like this & many where the caller says UNKNOWN. They should not be able to get our number from our subscriber. I am going to contact the subscriber to get that straightened out. With the big company, like A T & T, you can pay to keep your name out of the phone book & similar things like when they call the operator no info will be given about our name/phone number. I don't think we should have to pay for that--I thought we have a right to privacy. Just don't answer these calls--they can do something automation-wise & we will end up paying for their calls as something can get activated when you pick up the phone just like they do in Cook County Jail. If they are legit, they can leave a message & if u r interested, call them back from a pay phone. Even if they seem legit, you can be fooled. Never relay any of your personal info unless you are absolutely confident.

Showed up on my caller ID as "Positive Energy."  The woman who called said I was a good ComEd customer and was therefore eligible for a rate reduction.  I asked: "Are you affiliated with ComEd" and she said "yes".  She then began her sales pitch, ending each sentence with: "Ok?"  I never said "yes" and finally just hung up the phone.  Never believed she was truly associated with ComEd.

I have been getting nonstop calls form this number and to top it off no message left on my answering machine if you want answers or me to pick up please leave a message what this pertains to and I will be more welcome to pick up or call you back Please do not call me non stop or I will block your number from my phone thank you very much                                             512 326-3842

This number keeps calling my home as well. However, I remember receiving information from the city of Chicago about alleged companies notifying me about lower my bills. I do not have time for this bull! I wish they would stop calling because I am beyond content with my current service. I don't need someone hounding me! I am a grown a** woman who knows how to make sound decisions!

They called me at work a number of times. Caller ID shows up as "Positive Energy."  I did not answer and they did not leave a message. Another scammer.

This number called again today at lunch time.  This time caller id showed Chicago.  No message left.  Typical moron telemarketers.

Report them immediately to www.donotcall.gov.

Do not answer.  Block the number if you can.  These scammers are making illegal telemarketing calls.  If you do answer, tell them nothing -- not your name, not your address, and especially not your account number on your electric bill.

This is a slamming attempt, ie the caller is trying to trick you into changing your electricity supplier.  If you give them your account info they can use that to change suppliers without your knowledge.  They try very hard to hide that fact from you but use the account info and any "yes" you might have said as "proof" that you agreed to the switch.  The call is a violation of the DNC law however.

Someone from this number calls about every 15 minutes but doesn't leave a message- it really is annoying to have who ever this is to just keep calling & calling. I don't answer phone calls from numbers that I don't know.
