This number text me about my CL ads and offered $105 over the prices and asked for my paypal e-mail.

Just got a text from this number about an ad on CL I posted for my SIL's engagement and wedding rings. They offered $200 more than I asked and said they would pay me the next day and I needed to take the ad down immediately. I asked why they wanted to pay me more than I asked and got a reply that it needed to be sent to Western Africa. I replied with, "YOU HAVE TO BE F-ING KIDDING ME. GO AWAY." No future texts and no money arrived.

This person also contacted me from a craigslist ad.  Offered me $100.00 more than I was asking for some earrings he wanted for his fiance.  Also wanted it sent to Nigeria. He sent me fake email notification of funds that would be released to paypal once I sent a tracking number to an email he provided. Beware of this scammer

The person with this number texted me about an ad on Craigslist about a laptop. He offered me $150 over the asking price to ship to his fiancé. Wanted to pay me through PayPal and insisted through pay pal only. He said he was out of town for work and wasn't gonna be back for a while.

Person at this telephone number (note AC - East Coast) texted me in response to my West Coast Craigslist advertisement for a computer for sale.  Offered me $140 over asking price (almost as much as the computer itself) to ship to his fiance in Nigeria. She must be really special.  Wishes to pay via paypal and asks for my paypal account.  Pretty insistent about using Paypal.  Thought about giving him my ex-wife's account info, but there are limits to my mongrel tendencies and supplied the data for her new husband instead.

Anyway, doing a fandango with this Nigerian scam helped make the end of a slow day come quicker.
