Received a call on local phone from this number on 02/21/2011 at 4:12 p.m. Our ans. service picked it up and the sound on the other end was just the sound of presses running.

Generally the call comes through as "Private Caller" but also comes through as AASTNV. Calls at least once a day and as often as 3 times a day as Private Caller and 2 times on the same day as AASTNV. Something needs to be done about this number. We NEVER answer the call. According to posts on "whocalled.us" these people have been trying to collect donations for Nevada Highway Troopers since at least 2006!  They use at least 2 other phone numbers. There are postings from across the nation; a couple asking why Nevada can't afford to support their Troopers. We're going to buy a phone that will block calls but that doesn't help all the rest of the people receiving calls from these scammers.

This number keeps calling my home phone, no one is on the other end and all I hear is machinery. They call no less than 8 times a friggin day and I am sick of it. I have just put a block against this number from calling anymore.

I just got a call from this phone number today.  No message.  Caller ID says same thing:  AASTNV.  Have any of you been applying for jobs on line by any chance?

keep getting phone calls from this number1-775-319-1559. never answered calls and caller never leaves a message...............google map search comes from desolate town of silverpeak nv., not able to zoom to steet level.............

Received a call from this number today.  Caller ID said it was AASTNV.  I looked it up on here and found out what other people said about it.  It has to be a scam.  Our local news is always warning people that the local police, sheriff, fire departments NEVER, EVER call people for money.  They only collect money for charities when you attend an event.  For instance, Tip a Cop at Applebees.  Some police officers will  wait tables at the restaurant and whatever you tip them goes to charity.

Never give out any info to anyone over the phone unless you are the one who called them and you are sure who you are talking to.
