This is the LA Times trying to get me to resubscribe. NEVER. First you ask for only the Sunday paper and next thing you know they are bringing you full service and WANTING their money for all of it. If you don't want the paper make sure YOU CALL and say STOP!!!!!!! Never will I subscribe again. Such a mistake and waste of paper.

Have received phone calls from this number 2 days in a row, but no one talks. I can hear background noise, but no one says anything. Caller ID spells out the number, no mention of newspaper.

caller ID says L.A Times. my land line was disconnected for over a week and when it was finally fixed 10 minutes later the first call was from that number. i answered in a childish voice as i do with moth telemarketing calls and they just hung up. i answered it today and they tried to sell me a subscription for the Sunday paper talking about coupons. they never asked if i wanted the paper but they were pushing for my address so they can begin sending me the paper.

This number has been calling me a couple of times a day for the last few days...finally today I decided to answer it. Silence...silence....then they hung up. I love the waste their time post...I can hardly wait until they call again - I am ready!

775 is a Northern Nevada area code.... Who and why are they selling newspapers from Atlanta and LA? I wish they'd stop calling me, though. I never answer my LAN line anymore, so when I see the Nevada number on my caller ID I start to worry and wonder which family member is in crisis!

Funny... made me laugh. My caller ID also says LA Times ... we moved out of state several months ago and canceled our subscription. When they called the FIRST time, we told them sure, we'll take it -- if they deliver to Colorado! They said no. Somehow though, our number stayed on their marketing list and someone's been calling every hour for past 3 days!

This number called, left no message. Caller ID says LA TIMES. A telemarketer for newspapers, apparently.

Calls all hours, leaves no message. Annoying.

This phone number calls all hours of the day, goes to voicemail & sits there for a minute everytime, then hangs up - no message. I am also in California and do not know what I would want with a newspaper from Atlanta. I think I'll waste their time when they call back so they stop calling me!

Just got another call from this number, again about 7:30 PM PDT, 5/10/10. Same deal, no message.

I got a call at my work phone from this number, at 7:30 PM PDT on 5/5/2010. I didn't answer, and they left no message. I'm pretty sure this is the 2nd call I've gotten from this number at about the same time of day. If this is indeed an Atlanta Newspaper, why would they be calling my area code (562) in California??

I just got a callf rom this number, and I'm in LOS ANGELES...a long way from Atlanta. Why would I want their newspaper???

This number kept calling me repeatedly over several hours, never leaving a message. This irked me somewhat so I finally picked it up and it was a telemarketer from the Atlanta Journal & Constitution newspaper. I let the lady go through her whole speech, I asked her a LOT of questions (What kind of coupons are in the paper? Did they have coupons for Coca-Cola? I deliberately wasted as much of her time as I possibly could. Then I started questioning her about how much paper was used by her company every year. What kind of "Green" programs did they follow? What did they do with the contaminated water after recycling old newspapers? Then I told her I never buy newspapers, I get all my news online, and I hung up.
Very satisfying.
