Called 3 times, left no message. I called the number back and got a recording  "thank you for calling Washington Mutual services"

Called 4 times today - left no message.  I answered the 5th time - collections for Washington Mutual.  Very hard to understand the caller - Indian?  Arabic?

This is Washington Mutual Collections Service. They have about 10 numbers they call from so you will see area codes for Washington, California, Nevada, Texas etc ---- states trying to reach you. If you call back and do not shut off your caller ID before you call, then they register that you called and the time so they know when to harrass you. If your anto answer states your name and/or the number they have reached, then you have just given them a wealth of information. Don't waste your time or money changing your telephone number because the telephone companies make a lot of money selling your non pub or unlisted number to special interested buyers.

I don't answer calls from numbers unknown to me. My answer machine was not on, so they couldn't leave a message.

it was a pre-recorded message, "I have a call coming through"

It is Washington Mutual trying to sell you more services.  Some other numbers you may see are:

I just told them to remove me from their lists.  If you call back and keep hitting "0" you will eventually reach a real person.  I am a new checking account holder and they are using my contract info to sell me other services.

Just got a call from the above number. No one on the other end. Or didn't say anything  at least.

I've been getting call from them 3/4/5 x's a day from the areas kisted below.

Arizona, Florida, Oregon, Massachusetts, Washington, Texas, Utah, New Jersey, New York and several Unknown.

Collections for Washington Mutual - couldn't understand the caller very well - foreign accent of some sort - Indian?  Arabic?

got a call from this number this evening, cid says navellier and google says navellier is a mutual fund company based in reno, nv. call back answer same as Dar317 comment.

Got call from this number.  It sounds like Navellier and Associates out of Reno Nevada

This number appeared 3X today on my caller id - no messages left. Attempted to call back - rings busy every time.
