answer your phone "Sheriff's Department...lock up"

I got a call from this number today.  I have no clue why they are calling my phone. They do need to stop calling.

Found this number on my caller i.d. log.

It appears to come from First National Collection Bureau, a debt collection agency based in Sparks, NV.

My call blocker won't allow their call through, it's just another wrong-number debt collector.

I've quit trying to explain to these types of businesses that they're wasting their time by calling me. It's better to let them lose money by completing long-distance calls to a dead answering machine.

when I answer  sometimes no one is on the other end, or they ask for someone else and I tell them no one by that name. I told them plenty of times to stop calling, and they keep telling me rudely, they will, and they haven't. It has been 6 months now. They call everyday, sometimes 5 times a day even as close as 30 minutes apart. When I called them back from private number, I would be put on hold for minutes and then get hung up.

I keep receiving calls from this number 775-332-0444 as well as 775-412-4499 and 714-495-4807. There are no collections to be done in my history. I've had my phone number for five years now and periodically would get people asking for Benjamin Rice (no idea who that is) and I would always tell them this is not his number and take me off the calling list (I try to be polite) but this is getting ridiculous. I don't have enough plan minutes to have to deal with this.

Have been calling for the last (at least) 5 years asking for someone who once had our number!?! Everytime I ask to have our number removed, the rude person on the other end says, "We'll be sure to do that" or something similar. FIVE YEARS!

Once I answered the phone, the automated voice stated that I would be on hold until someone could get me.  How rude....

My internal work phone number is ###-775-3220. Apparently, people that live in my area code don't know how to dial a one before the area code. So, when they dial 775-322-0444, they get the local number (me) instead of the collection agency that called them. I get a dozen calls a day from irate people. If you are reading this, please dial a one before you call the number and start screaming at the person on the other end of the line.
