Got an e-mail inquiring about a car I have for sale. I sent the requested info on the car and got another reply within an hour. The guy tells me he is sening a check for $29900 ($20000 deposit + $9900 for shipping & expenses). I am to deposit the check and forward $9900 to the shippers agent. YEAH RIGHT ! Total Scam If I had a buck for every clown like this who has responed to one of my ads, I would be a very wealthy guy.

Another one, this time an email on my car that is for sale, knew it was a scam as it is over priced and he was willing to pay full price. Took a while to get his phone number out of him, same one, same attempted fraud.... he is not very good at it either

Same grap as above. Michael king wants to buy a car for his customer. Never follows through, leaves the same number and email address. Someone needs to get a hold of him.

Pretty much the same thing. I put an ad in Hemmings to sell a car and got an e-mail from Michael King who used an address of 5068 E. Washington Ave., Las Vegas, 89110. "Michael King" is an Elvis impersonator in Vegas. The address is real, however, it comes back to Alpha Motors, a used car dealership. The e-mail address was king0090_links@yahoo.com

MY STORY IS SIMILAR TO THOSE ABOVE. THIS GUY, PETER, HAS A BUYER FOR MY CAR. HE WILL SEND $20,000 DEPOSIT PLUS $9,900 FOR SHIPPING EXPENSES.

I received an e-mail response to the ad to sell my truck. Same story as above. I went on Hemmings.com and found several reports on this same guy using different names and e-mail addresses. His phone number is 775-363-8395. This is a scam.

This number was given to me by a person who replied to my ad to sell my car. He wanted to give me more than the asking price if I would accept a cashiers check, etc., etc. his name is: Fredrick Goodwill, his email is: fred06_links@yahoo.com I honestly believe this is a scam.
