Automated call at 7 p.m. on Valentine's Day. Message offering cleaning, press 1 to schedule an appointment. After a fake busy signal they ask to leave you phone number, because "all the agents are busy!" I bet a trillion dollars that they HAVE NO AGENTS! It's just a ploy to make you leave your phone number if you want to yell at them.
They can't possibly be making money by pissing people off with a computer phone call, unless they are burglars casing a joint or looking for lonely old people to take advantage of.

I just put a note in to Sacramento's news channel KCRA Call3 Problem Solvers Team....if everyone who has been annoyed by this scam puts in this same information to their local news too, if they have a part of their programming that helps people out in stuff like this maybe we can do something that obviously the worthless DNC list people and others are NOT doing!  I feel so bad for Jason!!!  This activity is criminal and is pathetic the authorities arent doing anything about it, especially when it sounds like such shady people that are coming to your homes - I would NOT recommend people taking this in their own hands and jeopardizing their own safety and possibly their children too by inviting this so called business to their home and taking matters into their own hands - their has to be a way if this problem is this bad, the media loves to blow things up...how about blowing this creep out our phone lines!

**  Automated caller Jeff Harris (Carpet, Tile & Furniture Cleaning Experts) leaves same call-back number 858-222-0514.  This is a Ymax Communications Corp, CA phone number serving the La Jolla, CA area.  
**  Both telemarketing (prank?) calls on the weekend supper hour (Fri 5:59p/ Sun 6:37p).  The screen ID now shows "Nu Look Los Ang" using numbers (775-384-9253 // 775-384-9248).  
**  At the first of the year, this guy's screen ID showed American Best C. using numbers (775-657-9398 // 775 657 9438).
**  Help by filing complaint -- even if only a recorded message left on ans. machine:  <****s://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx>  Note -- this business does not have a listed number in local area.

It is Jeff Harris - the carpet cleaner.  He calls Sat Night, Sun Night. He is not going to stop.  If you get a valid #, put it on your speed dial and call it as many times as possible.  Be nice and aggravating like him.

WHY??? I get it when companies ignore the "don't call list" and call anyway -- it might get a sale and there appears to be no downside to giving it a try. But I just don't get why someone would take the time to set up automated calls to offer a service they don't really provide. I can see they fun in some pranks, but I just don't get how they get their jollies from this activity. Geez, Jeff or whatever you are, GET A LIFE!

Just got two of these (one on each line).  I don't have Caller ID so I don't know where it came from (probably munged anyway).  But the number to call is the same (858-222-0514).  Called it and (of course) got voice mail.  Left a rather blistering message then filed complaints with the FTC and CA Attorney General.

The message recorded from "Jeff Harris of Carpet, Tile, & Furniture Cleaning Experts" described services offered, and a number to call directly at: (858) 222-0514.   Obviously Jeff Harris paid for advertising services from some Nevada-based robocall clearing house "American Best Cleaning"
Obviously American Best is ignoring the Do Not Call registry.   I will be going to a local payphone and calling Jeff Harris directly COLLECT CALL to let him know how I feel about this.   I suggest others do the same.

First time this "company" phoned, Tues. Jan 23 2010, 1:07pm.  ~~  Second time weekend using phone # 775-657-9398 (cross reference).  Leaves message that all (tile, floors, furniture, etc.) can be cleaned.  Call to schedule:  #858-xxx.xxxx.  I cut off call before voice mail got local number.
