I called back from a land line and number was disconnected.  something needs to be done about these scams.

Just letting everyone know that if you have ever applied for anything online (such as a loan, even a car loan, house loan, or anything) and had put in your information in order to obtain such a loan, they have your information.  I have found this out the hard way.  A lot of the times, you have to either change your number or talk to a supervisor to remove your number, but take this caution, that after you do this, check your bank accounts very carefully because I did that one time and after getting into a heated discussion about removing my number and info from their system, they still debited the money from my account.  Thankfully, I had called my bank before I called the company and they were able to stop the draft.  So just a heads up.

These people called me the other day offering a credit limit of 5,500.oo dollars in credit mind you they do not specify at very begining that the services are for ONLINE CREDIT ONLY! what kind of game are they trying at you may ask? very simple a way to screw you over financially and mentally.DO NOT TAKE THE OFFER!!!!! it is nothing but a way to get all your personal information and use it against you. You can only use the membership online for the products they approve and i have a question that everyone can understand. Why get a card that has no major reps like visa,master card, discover,american express you cant use it without it ya know? and last but not least for those reading this. PLEASE USE YOUR COMMON SENSE AND JUST TELL THEM NOOOOO!!!!!!!! the other number they tell you to call is 1 800 887 2636. Mind that they are a agency of somekind but not for the truth of what they are really about a true conartist scam!!!!

I just got a called from 775-969-8476 and other elias #'s I will share it got so bad at work during earlier in week these people keep calling my job disrespecting staff and me saying I owed them money it got to a point, when in the office we had an officer here and she instruced me to contact someone at the attorney general office. i did they look up that no and told me it was scam. Now today they're back calling on my cell phone and i called the no back and got no answer. So I suggest call consumer protection division and report it there no is 517-241-3771 these people I out of control and have to be stop.

They're getting your info from places where you've applied for a payday loan or quick cash.  That's how they have all your info.  It's naturally a SCAM, but they're not gonna quit calling until they just decide to give up when you stop answering.

Bet it's scam nuts from Asia, Been getting alot of calls different numbers, Don't answer No calls that you don't know let the answering machine take it. Those over seas nuts started calling sons job well he lost his job because of them they call him then they call me. Read where the FBI is working on this. Close to Christmas bet it will get worse.

I have gotten too many calls from this number , i answered it and got a bunch of stic on my line.. I basically said for them not to call me back. They are calling my cell phone so I called my cell phone carrier and had their number blocked :) You can do that with your carriers too :)

Called 12 times yesterday (11/30/11) with the same results as mentioned in these other complaints. I've reported them to proper authorities!

They called and wanted me to give them a credit card number to pay $99.00 for a down payment on a credit card saying I waspre-approved for a $5,500 credit line. I

Same people called me and told me I was aproved. Same situation and was asking when can I make a payment of 99 dollars to activate card. Sure give me the 5,500. and I will give you 99 dollars. Whats up with this scam. And The guy had all my info.775-969-8476 disconnected

yep rec'd a call from these people and said i had applied for a loan and i said no i didnt, and to stop calling me and they hung up...they keep on calling but i dont answer the phone no more, cant answer my cell phone cause these people keep calling and calling me....i dont want to change my number cause i have had it for along time, but i dont know what else to do

Same thing just happened to me. I started asking questions about this 5000 dollar credit card and the girl said uuummm and then hung up. I called back the number is disconnected. I just called my bank and put a freeze on my account and will be there tomorrow to close my account. Thank God I have only one direct deposit to worry about.

Sounded great to me ... then I mentioned how it sounded too good to be true and I wanted some docs ... the call was mysteriously dropped.

I get this phone number call every single day; I don't answer.  It is some kind of scam going on.  Why can't something be done about these people ?

It is the outgoing telemarker line for Platinum Express (aka 800-887-2636). They are offering a "credit card" if you prepay $99. Others have reported that this may be a scam.

I knew it was a scam when the guy couldn't answer my questions in reference to a bank or MC or Visa backing this card...he says "those are not the only two companies that offer credit lines" $5,000 CREDIT LINE WITH FAIR OR POOR CREDIT AT 0% APR, YEA RIGHT!!!!!...then when I asked where I could use the card, there was dead air then he hung up. It is scam with a capital S ....only in america smh, soliciting bs to the fullest!!!!!!

I recvd a call asking me if I wanted a card and to verify some info.  Then he said I would be debited for $99 and then $19 per month.  He stated a name of James Leblanc and gave a different phone to cancel.  I called, but they said they would canel.  I have no way of knowing if it is or not.  They obtained my info from the web, checking acct number, social, etc...
