My caller id says from Russia/Kazakhst

This number called this afternoon but I let the call go to voice mail.  The message that was left was incoherent with multiple breaks in the message (complete silence).  I could hear several voices in the background that had an east indian/pakistani-type accent (also someone humming?)  Part way through the message someone starting saying Hello?Hello? and I could hear the person talking to someone else in the room.

Just got a call from this number, did a search of the number online, found this site and then did not answer the phone, i hope they find a way to stop these people from calling and trying to get money out of vunerable people like seniors etc etc saying they have a virus on their computer and can fix it for them for a price.

The silence on the other end of the line is a voice identifier, so as to match your exact tone of voice to access your cable modem via a telephone line and use a war dialing techniques that are either Tone-Loc, Telephony, Phone Number Footprinting,THC-Scan,Phonesweep. These hacker programs will keep dialing random numbers trying to get into your cable modem/telephone system. Once they get by, they have all your call logs, what time of day your home,log texted msgs,Find your location and IP addy,get credit card,  Soc Sec info,bank info,and then since your Internet provider has a 3 to 1 access, meaing you get your cable TV, Ineternet Computer Access, and your telephone line through a single modem, it will then move into your TV and computer. It is highly likely that your caller is already in you computer network/home. You will find an EXE. file or DAT file that says DIAL UP, PhoneSweep, ToneLoc, THC-Scan. So be careful on all phone calls, esp coordless.This type of hacking is prevalent. They can also block important incoming calls(such as future employment opportunities that happened to me). I would seriously buy the book Hacking Exposed 6th Ed by McClure, Scambray, and Kurtz. This book has a huge chapter about Modem-VOIP attacks. Total Scammer

Maybe I am crazy and would shoot (a bird or a bullet) you for calling me.  Maybe I am just kidding...you decide.

I tried dialing the number, can't get through.  They called in middle of the night but I let it ring.  No message.  Ever since I signed up for the Do Not Call list I get more calls than ever.  Am going to go outside and scream now.

They have called here several times almosy every day at different times. I answered only one time and I hiung up I dont answer anymore when I see the number. Can't stop ROBO call's Impossible.\!!!!!!. All the no call list in the world will not help. found that out.

Please shut down this phone number.  These people are phishing and call at all hours.

Got a call at 11:47 am today asking if I was having a problem with my computer.  I told him no.  He said there were reports of problems and wanted to run my computer.  I said no and hung up.  He had a foreign accent.  Don't know exactly what type of scam this is but I reported the number to the FCC.  I know whoever it is they are up to no good.

I just received a phone call from this person a few minutes ago. They said they were calling me to help with my computer problem. I hung up on them.

"Hello,  This is Brad from IT Guru.  We work on behalf of Microsoft and there has been detected a problem with your computer.  The alert has been sent to Microsoft but they are not responding so, this is the reason for my call."    "Brad" spoke in very broken English - likely an East Indian accent.    I kept laughing and telling him the call was a Phishing Scam and he kept denying.   I told me you must find some awfully STUPID people in the world to fall for that.   He wanted to 'guide' me through my computer to find the 'problem'.   I asked him to take my number off the list and not call again since I don't even own a computer.    He said he would.  We'll see!    It's my third call this week from these low-lifes!

I received a call from this number @ 3:42am. Scared the living crap out of me. I thought something had happened to a family member or friend. That is the only reason I can see someone calling at this time of morning. How do I get this stopped?

called about my computer three times in the last 2 days....finally asked them how they know I have a computer....then asked who they were calling for...the foreigner said a different name not even remotely close to mine. I said sorry this is "so and so' and he said sorry. No thanks for your time...just hung up....frig what a prick....horrible customer service.

Got a call 5 minutes ago from 777-426-3688. When I said "hello" there was no one on the line. I waited a few seconds then there was a high pitched beep and a recording in a lady's voice that said "goodbye"

Called today at 1:30 pm, when I said hello, the caller hung up.  Been getting lots of political survey calls lately also from various numbers.  If you don't answer they keep calling.  When you do answer they either hang up (as they did today) or they want you to answer survey questions.  Oughta be a way to stop em!

3 calls from this #.  Have no idea who they are and always waking me up!
